Does it show up as true damage in the death recap screen, though? I mean, we all know it's extremely faulty. Like someone said, he would have to have been missing like 2k health at that point for his ult to do that much (probably with 0 MR which is like, no). So we have to assume he was decently tanky. I just don't see the damage adding up. Was probably photoshopped.
I don't think you'd need to be missing that much HP for a Garen ult to do 800 damage. If we assume his target somehow had 0 MR then only 275 of the ult's damage is down to the % missing HP and by my calculations you'd only need 700 missing HP for the missing HP damage to account for that.
Of course, MR is a thing that exists so numbers are higher but I'm going to assume that Garen was targeting a somewhat squishy target who didn't have much more HP missing than what Garen had taken off with his QE. I reckon Garen 100-0'd with QER.
As someone else pointed out though, the Garen in that game did look fed (Tri Force) and by his standarsds, had built a suprising amount of damage. Trinity Force, Hexdrinker and Sterak's all have AD attached.
