Riot: Every time Lucian Gets out of Control

And every time you just re-buff him without a care in the world.

You say stuff like "We don't buff some champions because they could run out of control"

Kalista Azir Ryze RekSai Nidalee Kassadin Leblanc Vayne Rengar

But Lucian? He's played Mid and Top even at the competitive level and it's not the first time he breaks out of control. So why does he get the special treatment and always gets buffs while a bunch of other champions are left to rot?

Because they're hypocrites. They'll say "We have to allow bigger burst windwos" so made lb a kite mage meanwhile dravn throws one axe in your face and you die without counterplay. Riot is notorious for being a hypocrite LOL

We do remember that Lucian was garbage for the entirety of season 5, right? It even had a name: Loscian with a 0-18 record in LCS or some shit.

I have to admit, I have been spamming lucian mid on my other account.

The only reason Lucian started getting picked again is because he shines the most with BOTRK. I don't see Lucian as a problem going top or mid. He's used to lane bully specific match ups.

I honestly do not think he's out of control or even close to it. Once Riot figures out how to balance BOTRK without gutting it, Lucian will probably start getting picked less.

I have tried the old Lucian build with Ghostblade into cleaver, it just isn't as strong as the BOTRK build. That sustain and active that BOTRK gives Lucian is what makes him seem really strong.

Lucian was terrible to even consider playing for a long time.

And Lucian mid or top isn't anything new. Sure, MSI made Lucian popular, but Lucian mid has been a thing for some players for a long time.

Anyway, Lucian is finally able to be played again. He was 6 feet under the ground for a long time. I don't think Lucian needs nerfs. Maybe BOTRK needs to get looked at again because ADCs still use it.

Because the balance team is really stupid

It's cuz they don;t want to look racist, so they keep both of the Token blacks op.

It's not so bad if you don't feed X champion.. I've crushed and been crushed on my better Lucian's, I've also done quite well on Luc on most of my games on him, playing him agressive like a Draven will increase your performance on him. Facing and agressive Draven or Lucian can be intimidating during laning phase, giving him a snowball effect he can transfer into the mid and late game quicker.

Nidalee is balanced right now ;-; Although the gutting was painful

Riot usually favors the champions that are the most all purpose champs with few glaring weaknesses but also no significant strengths when it comes to buffs. Champs that have one really powerful or unique ability or purpose usually get dumpstered over ones with a bunch of general purpose abilities.

It's almost like they want to make sure their meta roster never becomes like Dota2's where all the heroes are the exact opposite.

If I remember correctly, the last few times Lucian has been a problem (ghostblade cleaver, lethality?, and bork cleaver) it's been because of itemization rather than riot giving him a huge buff.

Could be because he's so popular they're able to spot problems with him quickly. That's a possible reason, but it's not an excuse.
