This is a "just for fun" thread. I am super hyped for the changes Wednesday, and I want to hear from other people who are hyped for Wednesday! For reference, I haven't played PBE at all, so I'll be going in totally blind.

What's the new strategy/rune page that you're going to try first when these changes hit live?

I'm most excited to try the Guardian Rune on Taric. I feel like it fits him so much better than Windspeaker's and I have a feeling I'm going to love it. After that, I'll have to test a few different things with Swain to see what I like. With any luck, I'll figure it out just in time to get hyped for his rework :P

Finally get to play new runes without lag I just want to get a few good pages for my mains, they can all go in so many different ways (Press The Attack Leona wooo)

One thing I can certainly say is that I am glad I don'thave to deal with the whole "optimal rune/mastery" setup stuff anymore. Use these marks, seals, glyphs, etc. Made me real tired after a while.

As a metabreaker partially from that exhaustion, this this is like a whole new start for me. I've been on PBE struggling a bit from the lack of starting stats and trying to understand even the most impactful strategies that could work. Hell I even picked up Malzahar and I sucked with him before it! There's many things I still want to try that I haven't yet...

Inspiration/Precision Tristana with Spellbook to change early game Smite; I did not just make a Rune page for that.

Death to "optimal runes!" The worst thing that could happen here, imo, is that we immediately go back to a stale meta with a "correct" page for every champ. From what I've seen so far, though, they've done a really good job, and I expect that your playstyle will impact what your optimal runes are much more than it did before.

Inspiration is particularly interesting, even for me as someone who does not like to break the game or the meta. I'm thinking the free stopwatch and minion dematerializer is going to be clutch on Swain. Have you tried Destabilizer yet, and how is it?

Not yet unfortunately. I did say that I would use tonight as a last hurrah of trying the content before it lands Live. I'll give it a shot as I continue to forget Swain is a type of Champion down my ballpark but I never play him.
