I have 2 things to say regarding the Irelia rework.

For the most part this rework is beautiful. Gbay even loves it which is a fantastic sign Riot did a great job.

But 2 very minor things I have are:

  1. Make her E's delay a bit shorter and make the hitbox less generous. For example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=7&v=mKWquf0WcPY Draven and Darius should not have been hit here. so I think it should be made harder to land as in less toxic, and easier to land as in just being easier.

  2. This is a much more minor one. I think when Irelia's ult blades go away, instead of straight disappearing, the blades should either float and dissipate, just fade away, something with more of a smooth transition to make it match Irelia's smooth character design in all other aspects.

Go play her on PBE, her E isn't that easy to land.

This. The visual should be made clearer if needed, but it actually needs to be that wide to not be ridiculously hard to land.

But how can you play her on the PBE when everyone bans her?

Well, if you look super close you can see it tags a lot more of Draven than Darius so it makes sense it hits Draven but definitely not Darius so maybe it's not so much of a skillshot hitbox but a champion hitbox...?

I agree on both counts. I feel Irelia's still getting the finishing touches done on some of her animations, which is likely why her R blades disappear so suddenly, but I agree that on release they should have a much better exit transition, particularly since the champion as a whole is so graceful and smooth. I also agree that the hitbox on her E looks a bit too generous for its size, and should be made smaller. I'd perhaps hold off before reducing the delay on the ability, since it seems to afford a lot of control over how she can land it, but if reducing its hitbox makes it too difficult to land, that could certainly be a way of improving it. Alternatively, simply increasing the size of the blade visuals could be one other way of making the ability match its hitbox.

riot has a... history of making skillshots hitbox not at all match their visuals, even those with clearly defined lines. I may never know why but it's probably a decision made by that same guy hiding in riot's basement that thinks it's a good idea to nerf champions based on popularity rather than player feedback.

When have they nerfed champions based on popularity?

That is usually always what they do. Shyv and sion had high winrates well before they became popular. Then right when the meta because about them the nerfs started to come. Usually if the champ is hated by the masses like zoe, or has a high playrate with a 51-53% winrate they will get nerfed.

You guys are never happy. May I suggest you just stay quiet and stop flooding the boards?

They're 2 minor, generally agreed upon critiques. It's not like I made a rage post saying "I fucking hate the game the rework is trash braindead op shit" I gave my opinion and actual advice. Constructive criticism isn't flooding the boards

After connecting two E's it briefly shows an indicator of where it's going to hit which is more or less the diameter of each cast.

Second the indicator narrows much like how Jhin's and Jinx's Ws do. I think they did a good job on it. It lets players know (who are actively paying attention) of where it's going to hit and when.

Good points! I like her animations, skeleton (beside her a bit strange looking hair - especially in her splash) and her kit too!!! <3
