I believe Kayn`s concept was made from the largest concerns from a assassin player.

No joke here. And I believe it is amazing since it is spot-on. Can you remember how many times you fked your teams comp by picking an assassin jungler at early stages of the pick screen, and then found out that the enemy countered it by picking so many bruisers? It gives you the feeling that you are not going to have any sort of fun that game unless you totally own them early. And then being forced to buy bruiser items like cleaver-deadmans. This problem was a huge concern for assassin junglers for a long time and it was very stressful. Since you have no control over the situation.

The beauty of Kayn, is that he gives a solution towards this problem in the most efficient and impactful way. And gives you control over the whole plan of the game, which was lacking in assassin playstyle. I also believe it is a revolutionary design in itself, that Riot giving a message that Assassin bruisers combined are no more a thing.

Yeah just that the bruiser form shreds tanks, still assassinates squishies, does more damage with his ult that also heals him... like every other spell. And has an aoe knock up. So... not sure how useful the shadow assassin form is, Im looking forward to trying it out tho.

Well. Rhaast is classfied as a bruiser and they are meant to be strong against tanks and low-armor targets. The shadow assassin form has most of its focus on mobility and raw damage. You are able to move while using your W which is a massive slow, gain more faster speed while using E (Note that you can still use it as a running ability to close in) and longer range on your ult. And have auto-attack buffs that reset. Scalings are high as well.

Also he has benefits from each of these items. Good stuff, since lethality got buffs. item 3142 item 3814 item 3147

Now I could be wrong but the way I see it is Rhaast is more of the power house but lacks mobility. So sure he has higher numbers and is more powerful but I believe that knock up he has has a delay(? I'm not too sure ?) And has to stand still. That can be very dangerous in combat especially vs a Marksman. Kayne may not hit as hard but is more in control and mobile. Not to mention Kayne is specialized to kill Marksman which will always be required. Than again Rhaast is made to eliminate a front line.

Actually... Rhaast does less damage than Kayne by far. People see high %HP damage and think "wtf no counter wtfwtfwtfwtf" but in reality Rhaast has VERY low base damage - his damage isnt "high" - his damage is "normalized". He will be as useful on the enemy ADC as he is on the enemy tank, which is how %HP damage SHOULD be and is actually how riot has moved towards using it.

Ah interesting then, can't wait to try it out on live.

From playing him on PBE, Darkin form is basically better in almost every way and is probably going to be taken in the majority of games. He still has insane burst and on top of that he gets stupidly good sustain with a knockup just for the memes. He's gonna be like Khazix where one form is always going to be objectively better than the other.

Don't know if it'll be same with kha'zix update and lethality changes
