What can I do to be better in this situation

OK so hypothetical this is what would happen I this situation and I feel as though I'm bad for doing it. Looking for feedback.

So my adc gets Ganged by dragon by xin. I'm mid as Diana. My opponent ahri just went toward dragon to kill ezreal. I ward the Bush then continue pushing lane as ezreal moves towards our blue. My team leona engages xin and my renekton top teleport in. Their caitlin comes out of the Bush from bottom lane and kills ezreal. Then basically my whole team dies and I take mid while my jubgler takes top. Was I wrong? Lol

Why was the ad at dragon while the jungle is toplane?

Hmm... Obviously things could have gone any number of ways had you went to follow Ahri rather than pushing the lane but largely I think the people who played it wrong there were the other people on your team. Renekton teleporting into a clearly lost fight (3v5?) was a terrible idea, and Leona really should have kept her kit for disengaging rather than hard engaging given the lack of both you and the jungler. If played right they could have avoided dying while you and the jungler still got towers, though I don't think there was any way of avoiding losing that dragon. Probably a very good trade for you though.

You could have tried following Ahri of course but without your jungler (assuming the full enemy team was there if they couldn't stop either top or mid pushing) it would have been really difficult to win a fight and given Diana doesn't really do anything other than engage on people, I think it just would have resulted in 4 deaths for your team.

Trading Dragon for 2 towers can be justified easily, but losing your team 3-0 is what made the trade not so worth. Personally, the only thing i would've done different was probably hover dragon pit a bit, but if you saw no opening/chance/hope for the fight, taking 2 towers ultimately moves your team farther along into the game then 1 dragon for them.
