This emote bubble thing adds literally zero value to the game

Good use of development resources that could have actually improved the game, 10/10

Do you seriously think the people working on bugs or game balance were the people working on emotes?

We all really know that riot's development team is really just one dude working in the basement for slave labor. XP

Are you implying that this ridiculous system was a better use of time than fixing bugs? Because I'm not sure how you could come to that conclusion.

I'm saying anyone who was working on game bugs or other vital systems likely had next to nothing to do with this addition.

It baffles me that people not only don't understand this, but can't seem to wrap their heads around the concept when told.

Presumably, there are management-like people that allocate resources between various departments. Hopefully, its not the 'balance team', or this company is in real trouble.

Still wasted money on this useless shit instead of something that matters

You seriously think that Riot can't manage a budget for new features and core game balancing and bug fixing?

I think they shouldn't put any money in useless shit altogether <Removed by Moderation>

You really don't understand how companies work.

You know that the money and resources aren't being diverted from anything right?

If they weren't working on new features, they would just be unused.

You don't fix stuff just by throwing money at it.

It doesn't subtract any value from the game, though.

I could care less either way.

I love spamming emotes now to annoy and tilt other players.

10/10

Best value yet.

Would praise again.

I mean this implies that the same people that developed this also balance the game. let alone the fact that for all we know this project could have been going on for weeks, and while the main team is working on more pressing matters, they did this on the side, a little at a time.

Jeez dude. How often do you passive-aggressively post like this?

Now more than ever, I mute emotes.

it adds money to their pockets though.

i do feel the time could have been much better spent elsewhere, but i don't flat out dislike the change

and whats more, i dont see anything completely game-breaking on the PBE at the moment. which, given what was seen in the last 2 patches.. is a big relief.

for the moment.. im less concerned about riot adding things we may not need, and am just happy their not outright breaking any more things yet

Yeah I don't mute emotes, but I did turn off the side of the screen thing, it's just too much. I wish they popped up over the portrait of the champion who was doing it near the minimap rather than on the side of the screen, that might be more bearable. There's something about a completely unused part of the screen for UI suddenly becoming spamville.

It’s a quick way to say “nice job” without typing it. Of course, that’s not a lot of time typing that, but it’s one keystroke vs several.
