This preseason entire teams are afraid to engage

Had anyone whst noticed that the first team to group mid and push down the tower is the team to win. After they get that one tower is seems like the entire other team just cowers in fear behind their tower because it's in their head that the other team is winning. I had a mumu a leona and a Oriana on the same team sitting there while the tower went down all their ults ready..... The stupidity this season is real. Everyone seems to have forgotten how the game works.

That's because everyone knows if you die defending the second tower, the winning team can push all the way to your Inhibitor before everyone respawns.

Whichever team begins grouping in mid first has likely won their other lane(s) and taken their own tower(s).

This means that they already have a solid advantage over the other team and the recent minion changes will keep the other lanes pushed, forcing defenders to leave and clear them.

If someone leaves to clear the pushing waves, then they would be at a number disadvantage against a team that is already ahead of them and engaging would generally be a poor choice.

It varies depending on the game obviously, but that is the best reason I can see for this "trend".

as much as i dislike this preseason...but teams always had been afraid to engage, even if they were winning. This is why closing out games takes years - even though you could just dive in and end it 20min earlier often times.

Lies. I go in, Wukong style. But you're right actually. I've been on teams that we're steam rolling and nobody pushes towers because they're sitting there. At my elo, me included, are just bad at map rotations.

I had a team with Vi, Kennan, and Oriana that we lost because our team wouldn't engage. We were even ahead. I can't stand it when enagers don't start fights! It's quite clear these people are not confident in their abilities.

dude i understand how you feel , i always get the worst team as well such as bad player, feeder , troll, i dont understand why i always get in with the team like this , i destroyed 3 inhibitors and won the lane so hard i should have win that game but my team are so suck i have no word to describe :( this is not fair for us i want riot to change this system the team always dragging us down
