Player Behavior: Honors/Reports Visibility
It seems like player behavior is still a pretty big issue in LoL. The current system allows you to anonymously honor or report a player based on their behavior in game, but the consequences of either seems pretty vague to most of us and the impact of our honors/rewards is pretty much invisible.
What if there were a system that made your ratio of honors to rewards completely visible, and made the tailored a punishment and reward system based off of that. I'm picturing some kind of -10 to 10 linear scale type system that you could keep track of in your summoner profile. It would be similar to how people enjoy moving up in ranked play and push themselves to be better players, only it would effect their behavior instead of their skill level. I think that with this type of change players would likely be more aware of their behavior, and with the right rewards might help them be more consistently nice to one another.
Rewards/consequences could be what they are now, and maybe a few more things to be more encouraging. Players with a highly positive score would be matched with similar players, while those with high toxicity would be matched with other similar players. Queue times would be increased for players who are super toxic or leave games regularly. There are a lot of other things I'm sure but those are the basics.
What do you think? Would having a system that allowed you to keep track of your honors/rewards over a period of time and gave you clear rewards to work toward help you stay more consistently positive, or would you just not care?
