@Riot: Do you even remember why you made Ryze Q a skillshot when you reworked him in season 5?
I seem to recall it having something to do with targeted ranged poke being overly oppressive against melee champions. And despite all of his flaws, the previous iteration of Ryze at least had to proc his passive to 100-0 melee top laners at lvl 4, so you could theoretically play around it.
That brings us to today.
What the fuck is this shit? This nonsense spell is even more oppressive against melee champs than old Ryze Q was because this spell also gives Ryze pushing power and the ability to poke from beyond the spells 615 range. Plus, comboing this spell with Q immedately afterwards does an insane amount of damage and gives Ryze both a shield and a speed boost to either disengage or go for the kill.
And because his E has such a low CD, it basically leaves Ryze 0 windows of vulnerability since this fucking thing is literally always up. You can't go in on him because he'll just blast you with E-Q for insane damage and then either run away or kill you. You can't run away because he'll just blast you with E-W and then run you down. Pretty much your only window against his jackass as a melee champion is to scrape out farm under tower until you hit lvl 6 and hope to god that your ult powerspike is enough to kill this asshole. Not that you'll kill him regardless, since he'll just ult right the fuck out of there if you're ever a threat to actually kill him. Hell, his ult even works through Zhonyas for some ridiculous reason.
