Is there a reason why Vayne shouldn’t be able to proc W on multiple targets?

Disclaimer: i could care less about Vayne.

Why is she the only champ with a stacking passive that can only stack on one target at a time?

Why are Kaisa, Kalista, Varus (etc) able to utilize Runaans but not Vayne?

I don’t imagine Vayne’s 12% health per 3 hits being stronger than Kaisa’s 20%(+AP) missing health per 5 hits plus on-hit damage along the way.

Plus just utilizing Runaans in general on Vayne sounds hard (trying to be in range of 3 enemy champs without dying).

Kai'Sa's % damage can be mitigated. Vayne's is true damage. You cannot do anything against it.

Only reason I can think of. Would be a nightmare against some comps.

Probably just a hold over from the balancing ideas of the old days. There's a lot of stuff like that around.

It is because it says inside of the actual abilty itself that it is three consecutive autos. this means that if you switch to a new target instead of "hunting down" the current target you lose the stacks on them. It ties into her theme because you are chasing after one person at a time, not a team! hopefully this helped you!! :)

Vayne's is True Damage, not magic damage, so it can't be mitigated. Additionally, Vayne has a 2s Tumble, which means she can stick to the target and hunt or kite relatively easier. When looking at single abilities, you've gotta take into consideration the other tools that champion has to apply that ability or effect.

She isn't the only one press the attack works that way

Vayne's design makes it so she's balanced by having low range, which means she will often change targets to stay safe and to balance her %health true damage that is really a strong mechanic, she will lose damage by switching targets because they will lose stacks
