Vs vlad? by no means a syndra will ever oneshot a vlad with an IQ above 10 he is my go to pick against her you starve her by denying her kills and generally afk pushing the waves in. I hate syndra too because i mostly play assasins but R alone wont oneshot anyone unless she is 1item ahead of everyone. and its better than shitty champs like annie who have braindead spells that are hard to dodge unlike syndra whose spells are telegraphed but still oppresive

Why dont you just play ? He will solve all your problems, another problem is, you need skill for that. And there is no such thing as one shot, unless if its a 1.3k AP Veigar with MP using W on your ADC, but that's your fault for not being able to kill an immobile mage AND feeding him.

agree. this champion is really frustrating. This one time, I was fighting syndra and I dodged all of her abilities but then she just ulted me and I died because she used q 2-3 times, even though I dodged all of them. this is really discouraging. And I think playing only a select few champions against syndra is not counterplay. I think counter play should refer to behaviors that can be done on any champion that can increase your effectiveness against a champion.
