You fool!
This should have been your build by 10 minutes!

: "Long swords are the key, I must build them all."
So... are you saying it's too op or.....?
hexdrinker needs a nerf
In all honesty Hexdrinker is fine, especially since Maw is being geared towards fighters now. As a
main I actually find that I have to build Hexdrinker in order to win a lot of matchups against AP champions like Teemo or the odd Rumble.
What could possibly be done to deal with it is possibly reducing the AD by 5 points. Possibly, and even then it's a stretch. Like I said before, Hexdrinker as an item is in a pretty decent spot, especially since there's no real point in Assassins building it as it only goes toward Maw, which only ends up taking space that an Assassin could be using for something like an IE, Duskblade, or any other item with decent AD attached to it, that doesn't give 10% CDR that ultimately isn't going to amount to a whole lot.
While on the topic though, I do admit CDR is a very blanket stat in a lot of cases. Honestly speaking, the only champions it really isn't fantastic on are ADCs like Jinx, who really only need to rely on clicking a target once and letting their autos do all the work for them.
On an ending note: I'm not saying at all that I'm an expert in any way here. All I'm saying is from the position of top-lane, Hexdrinker is a fairly balanced item currently. There's not too much damage on it, and it gives just enough survivability in lane that I won't get instantly chewed by the Rumble/Teemo/Vlad/Malphite/whatever before I have the chance to turn the tables and kill them in kind.
Long reply, cause I'm a wordy person.
