I don't have much trouble vs. Ahri, but you're right.

I think she would be 10x more fun to play against if her skillshots traveled faster, but had a more noticeable cast time.

Or if the skillshots came out from inside of her character model (maximum range unchanged) rather than out of her hand, so that you have a split second extra to react to her melee-range hard CC skillshot.
