I have seen so many people pick rengar just because he is not banned and end up getting destroyed by the enemy jungler in every way. Please pick champions you know how to play, not just because they are not banned. I understand people have bad games, but 90% of the games where rengar is not banned and someone plays him, they just die, dont know how to gank correctly, die while ganking, doing suicide dives, invading the enemy jungle and dying for it, etc.

The problem with Rengar is he can heavily stack damage and punish enemy soft-champions with pretty brainless tactics due to how quickly he can burn down characters (Read: You don't need to be an expert to R , QQWE)

It depends on how far behind he is, but as long as he is not insanely far behind, he can kill soft characters with one combo.
FortisDominus1 votesit does depend on the soft character, for example if it is support velkoz, even if rengar is behind (he wont be able to kill him in one rotation in .01 seconds), he will be able to kill velkoz fast enough before he gets cc locked by the enemy team (most likely)

people just suck with him in ranked just because they dont know how to properly do stuff like every rengar player should be able to do a triple q combo to one shot carries even if they are behind if they have proper runes and masteries

he did it in 1.8 sec, while i was snared so yea pretty much 1 shot since i couldnt move and i didnt buy zhonya yet cause he was 1-8 and we was ending the game anyways.

FortisDominus1 votesRengar is sitting on a 50% ban rate and in plat if he is not banned he gets picked by people who dont know how to play him most of the time and just assume the champion is op, so they end up getting rolled.
