We can do this by bringing back the mmr boost you get if you que as a premade. Here are the values I suggest. Duo: +100 mmr Trio: +200 mmr Quad: +400 mmr 5-man: +800 mmr That way solo queue players will have a chance against premades.

PDE5 Inhib2 votesNo. Because if the gold players also are queued together, their MMR would increase as well. So with OP's suggestion, a silver 5 team would be playing against another silver 5 team, but doing it at a gold MMR lol. Doesn't make much sense to me xD
I think his goal was a system that means if you're a solo Gold 1 player, and you get matched against a duo, the duo would be like gold 2-3. So he was trying to suggest that you raise the MMR of the duo in order to compensate for their teamwork edge. I thought this was already being done, though.

It was done for duo queue in the past but they removed it to promote dynamic queue.

really makes it feel like the the premade problem is over hyped. when it only happens with a 1 in 20 odds.
Still, if Riot is going to make premades and solos share the same Q, it would make sense to make the MMR latter just as dynamic.

They probably didn't include the Duo's because that was always an option in the previous Q. though 3 man premades are an even bigger question though.

If you believe what Riot tells you, sure.
Of course the drawback to this is punishing the non-premade players who are thrown in with the group, since that group is expected to outperform.
SpookyNeedle1 votesIf you try to make matchmaking more fair, queue times raise. Then people complain about those, then when they lower queue times by increasing the mmr range, people complain about dq being unfair and shit. Then solo queue requests come.
