A bit of helpful advice from a jungler to laners

If you're being "camped" chances are you're probably shoving your lane up too much with no vision and no map pressure.

Its not hard to look at a map as a jungler and be like "oh hey look, their mid laner is under my turret.... AGAIN. Free kills."

So before you go raging in all chat that you're being "camped" maybe you should buy some wards and stop shoving your lane so much. Also, saying "my champion just naturally shoves" is a total cop out. I don't care who you're playing, you can control a minion wave. Even if you're playing tristana, you can control a minon wave. Sure, its going to EVENTUALLY naturally push, but don't feed me that line of bullshit when you're CONSTANTLY under the enemy turret getting ganked that its "your champion's fault."

No. Its your fault.

Play safer, or ward more, or both.

On the off chance you're ACTUALLY getting camped (maybe 10% of scenarios where you're claiming to be getting camped) just do your best to survive as long as possible so plays can be made elsewhere. Shit sucks, sorry you're getting camped, but a good jungler will know how to capitalize on it.

But you're probably not getting camped.

You're probably just being stupid.

lol From a laner to a jungler yes you're right they're are laners who do that.

But on the flip side, when we actually get camped and they're power clearing our vision AND bullying us under tower, ya'lll have a tendency to just not show up and call us a lost cause :P

which is the correct move as a jungler 90% of the time.

Except the best junglers look at it as a counter gank opportunity

or an opportunity to make plays elsewhere and get other lanes ahead, do herald, steal jungle camps, push other towers, etc.

All of which are more lucrative and more impactful than getting a couple kills on a counter gank. Also much more reliable and safer.

If I go for that counter gank and it goes bad, then you're in an even worse situation than you were before, you're probably tilted. I'm probably tilted. Support is probably tilted. They probably get first tower blood + drake, and the game just snowballs out of control.

Nah. I'd much rather go make plays someplace else and hope to god you guys can hold your own long enough down there for me to make an impact somewhere else.

Eventually your turret will go down, and if you're smart, you'll freeze the lane and catch right back up in CS. You'll force the enemy to over extend, and I can gank at that time instead.

Counter ganks are flashy, sure - but playing the rest of the map is smarter.

Well said. I see your point and agree that all of those options are valid decisions over the counter gank at times.

JS a well timed counter gank is crushing if its close to tower so don't automatically consider it less valuable of an option :p

Totally agree on that point. If you pick up a pushing champion than you should play around that even more and as of being used to it you should be adapting to being camped. Everyone who plays a pushing champion without adapting to being ganked deserves to be in low elo.
