I could talk for hours about his problems, but no one ever listen anyways so I'll just give you the facts. Ezreal has a 45% win rate (go check champion.gg if you don't believe me). He is without a doubt the worst adc ever. And no one plays mid Ezreal either because that is also garbage.
Its All Skillzz3 votesi play mid ez cause im a rebel, but yea he is fairly week. being super freaking squishy and all your damage can be avoided by standing in minions other than W. built full ap you lack wave clear since your AA does jack shit and you can just be pushed in an then the mid can roam bot cause they will ignore your mia an keep pushing all day. but in team fights your R and W will do alot of damage to enemy team. built with hybrid which i like to do. by going gunblade into mucramana lichbane deathcap void, gives you a decent ammount of AD to push and a ton of hybrid damage but still stacking a tear can take 20 mins or so and really delay your power untill its finished where most games end by 20 mins nowadays.
i feel like they should make his E target champions only. would be a huge QOL buff for him when trying to fight or trade. can also make his W do damage to minions so maxing it as ap gives you wave clear it can do reduced damage per minion hit or something to not make him to opressive.

rather see QOL improvements like E only hitting champions and W allowed to be fucking useful vs minions.

Ezreal is the reason broken items get nerfed lol. as if nidalee and other lichbane users wasnt abusing it.

You do realize that Ezreal is supposed to use on hit effects, right? He was specifically designed to use them with his 'q'. And he actually has to land a skillshot and buy the item before he gets any benefit. It's not like Ezreal spawns into the game with these items and his 'q' has 100% accuracy. He actually has to farm enough gold for it and then land skillshots.
And Ezreal definitely isn't the only champion who 'abuses' items. I could argue that Master Yi abuses botrk and guinsoo's because they synergize stupidly well with all the attack speed in his kit.
Its All Skillzz1 votesonly thing i hate about his mid lane is his lack of mana items, rush tear you do no fucking damage for so long, morello doesnt give good mana return untill lost chapter but still upgrading that into morello is a waste an you get back less mana from it unless you kill someone. so his mana items early are tear = do no damage
VoraciousX1 votesI don't think his W would even be oppressive if it could hit minions. It's a straight line skillshot, it's not gonna hit a whole minion wave unless they're lined up and marching in a straight line, and even then it doesn't have THAT much damage tied to it even as AP Ez. His E has the most damage as AP Ez. I do have to say that while his E targeting only champions would be cool, it'd make AP Ez oppressive af. The damage from E is insane. That's why you can pretty much delete anyone with a muramana, gunblade, lich bane combo as long as you E on top of them. The main problem with Ez atm is the likely just the meta. ADCs are getting fed earlier even while building crit, and just stomping. Solve that problem and Ez should at least be okay. Honestly though they could make tear stack a little bit faster and that might solve things. If they can make crit items stronger they can do the same for tear. It's not like many champions even build a tear. and considering game pacing it takes too long to actually stack it.
