I play Lux support. Game recommends I take Doran's Ring. I accidentally take Doran's Ring because I'm trying to go with my ADC. 2 seconds off of the spawn plate, I U-Turn back to the shop. I can't return the item and if I sell it I'll end up with much less.
There needs to be an exception to this when it's the first few seconds of the game. For example, it occurs after you leave the base.

VanTurino2 votesItem pages will improve your back time as well as limit mistakes made. If Rito wont fix it, you have the power to fix it yourself. If you make a mistake then it should negatively effect you. Learn from mistakes and don't make them again.

SanKakU1 votesI get annoyed when I see the recommended items are wrong but I get off of them and find what I need so often anyway that I almost never get the wrong item because of recommended items. The only times I ever get the wrong items are when I'm AFK when I shouldn't be at the start of the game and I'm buying too fast so I can get to lane in a reasonable time frame.
