We're losing supports left and right

Fiddle is being reworked and will most likely not be a jungle/support pick anymore as they have stated they want to double down on his jungling capabilities

The recent Tahm nerfs have made him an overly oppressive top laner and completely removed him from bot lane viability to the point where sites like u.gg don't even have him listed as a support

With the recent changes to galio it's clear Riot wants him in a solo lane

As Pyke top becomes increasingly popular, he'll prob see some adjustments which will invariably hurt his bot lane

Lux is probably safe for another 2-3 patches. She's basically the new Zoe but is also extremely good in the support role. After Riot nerfs her mana costs and some damage she'll prob fall out of the bot lane altogether.

Wouldn't really mind losing supports if we got more than 1 every year and if the ones we did get were more inspired than a cat on a flying book.

  • Galio still has his [W] & [E]. He can still engage & lock people down, only thing the nerfs did was make it so he does less damage.
  • I don't see Riot nerfing lux, atleast not for a long time. Even if they do, her [W] can give her allies a huge ass shield if she invests into Support Items over AP Glass Cannon.
  • Fiddle was never intended to be a Support Pick, he's only down there due to how his [Q] & [E] are designed.

Also, there's plenty of other champions that can fill the support role. Yuumi Nami Taric Leona Annie Neeko
