I throw away my ban now.

Every time the bans come up, the same shit happens. Everyone tells me to ban Yi, Jax, Udyr, Xin, Mundo, Malphite, Lucian, Kog'Maw, Blitz, Leona, Yasuo, Talon, Zed, Ekko, Darius, Draven, Corki, Irelia, Kallista, Nautilus, Morgana, Volibear, Singed, Poppy, Tryndamere, Vlad, Trundle, Sion, Tahm Kench, Quinn, Nasus, Gangplank, Garen, Gragas, Fiora, Kha'zix, Fizz, Soraka, Teemo, Annie, Evelynn, Kayle, Zilean and about thirty or forty other champions. As in they want them ALL banned except the one champion they exclusive, even though we have six total, even though we have three as a team, even though, if I ever am granted a ban vote, I can only ban the one. Ban the wrong one, and I can expect to get screamed at for the entire game, AND four-man reported all for not banning a single champion, even if they weren't in the game, even if I wasn't given a ban vote!

This is getting ridiculous. People are so obsessed with being the only assassin or anyone else they see as overpowered, they blind themselves, as a collective, to their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as that of the enemy. They care only about getting all of the pentakills, and anyone or anything that stops that is "overpowered, invincible, can't be beaten, freelo, etc.", which can amount to about... 90% of the roster, by my estimate. I've pointed this out endlessly for the past three years, but not only has the problem not been resolved it's arguably getting worse, and I refuse to play into that game.

Now, whenever I DO get a ban vote, I throw it away. I ban a champion that you almost never see played. Of course, you can't just run down the clock anymore, because apparently it counts as an AFK check, so I ban someone stupid like Yorick, and that's if I don't just close my eyes and click a random champion. Even that can be difficult for me; I see the menace in just about every champion, even Yorick, as much of a mess as that boy is right now. I have enough shit to do in-game covering the asses of four AD melee assassin mains. I'm not in the business of building your safe space of zero opposition so you can stroke your ego in vulgar, profane, and possibly illegal ways.
