Kled may be the most broken champ in League history

Lugg··7 votes·3,915 views

Just had a game that proved Kled is stupid broken OP.

The enemy Kled was AFK 5 of the first 8 minutes. He had SIX CS total (he was really bad). I was playing Naut (rank 5 mastery) had 60 something CS and had already backed and had item 1028 item 1031 and item 3751 . Yet this Kled was able to literally go toe to toe with me and kill me with just a item 1055 despite the fact that I had all of my abilities, my ult, and I was 2 levels ahead of him.

Seriously Riot, every single ability on this guy needs hot fix major nerfs. Any champion in the game should be free kills in that situation.

What do you mean? Riot always releases balanced tournament-ready champions on day one.

I don't remember Sol/Jhin/Bard/Kindred being overly OP on release, but more the community not knowing how to fight them

Kled isn't that op in my opinion. He's incredibly annoying, but not OP imo

Lugg3 votes

Sol wasn't OP, it just took people awhile to learn how to counter him. Jhin was OP, it just took players awhile to learn him. Bard was underpowered and no one bought him, so Riot has been releasing OP champs ever since. Kindred was stupid OP on release.

Slythion1 votes

That's not how I remember it at all, here's what I remember:

Sol wasn't OP. In fact, he was a bit underpowered due to being released during the "tank assassin" phase (which counter him) and having a diverse and complicated kit that had a high skill floor

Jhin wasn't OP (at release) and has only seen slight tuning adjustments to his E and Q. He didn't become "OP" (I still don't view him as OP, but I'm speaking from the board's perspective) until the Korean armour pen build became popular and Jhin was discovered to be strong with Youmuus + Duskblade

Bard was similar to Sol except he has a much higher skill cap. Seriously, a good Bard can win games by themselves

Kindred was only strong because the community wasn't sure how to adapt to her playstyle yet (although lane Kindred was a bit broken with that sustain, I'll give you that)

Lugg2 votes

Bard was VERY underpowered on release. They had to give him several buffs before he was played at all.

Jhin was definitely OP on release. I was winning a lot on him right off the bat before I even had him down and ADC was my weakest role at the time.

Kindred will always be strong from her ult alone.

Lugg3 votes

In a situation like that, you shouldn't even need experience or knowledge to win that fight. This is just a case of a champion being stupidly OP.

CerealBoxOfDoom2 votes

or you getting horribly outplayed for no real reason

Lugg4 votes

How do you get outplayed when it's a toe to toe fight? There was zero outplay in that fight. It was simply a case of one champion being vastly stronger than the other. That was the entire point of the post.

CerealBoxOfDoom1 votes

well for one you could get tricked into a toe to toe fight after he gains levels and closes the advantage around the time your champion, who is a tank and will fall off, falls off

All he had to do was make sure he could burst your shield down, the rest was all sustain and shielding.

You got rek'd

Lugg3 votes

Who falls off at the 8 minute mark? ROFL

CerealBoxOfDoom1 votes

tanks played by bad players do. Not to say you are but you could be which makes this a very real possibility

Lugg3 votes

If the Kled had come back and done a great outplay on me, I would have been completely fine with that. That would have been the other player just being better than me. My problem is when the other player is obviously worse than me and wins simply because his champion is stronger than mine. That's a game balance issue.

CerealBoxOfDoom1 votes

That's a game balance issue.

or a bad decision issue

what skill did you even level on nautilus who you built 0 damage on?

not knowing how to PLAY AS a new champ should always trump not knowing how to play VS a new champ

if the guys is playing a champ he KNOW how to play and he gets beaten by a player playing a new champ who DOESN'T know how to play the new champ. the new champ should LOSE.

if NEITHER the player owning the champ or the playing facing the champ know how to play the champ.. the person FACING that champ should win 100% of the time

Verxint5 votes

You mean a duelist who specalizes in going ham and 1v1ing can fight a tank that specalizes in teamfights and disruption?

Oh man, what is riot thinking, making strong teamfighters weak in 1v1, and weak teamfighters strong in 1v1.

Isedelica1 votes

honestly he's not even that strong in 1v1 either lol all he needs is a damage nerf thats it

other than that he is fine

Verxint1 votes

Kled strikes me as a better duelist than Naut. But you're right, he probably loses to the real duelists Jax Fiora Olaf and such

Beldair1 votes

He loses to Trundle... But the troll is a counter to duelists.

speaking from personal experience without evidence, not even a link to your game which is still terrible but go on

The enemy Kled was AFK 5 of the first 8 minutes.

First minion dies at around 2 minutes in

He had SIX CS total (he was really bad).

Assuming you'd know good from bad

I was playing Naut (rank 5 mastery)

BULLSHIT ALARM

who cares if you're rank 5? All it takes to reach rank five is a functional mouse to click around and troll with.

had 60 something CS and had already backed and had item 1028 item 1031 and item 3751 .

https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/108/364039553_3bc9931826.jpg

Is 60 cs even possible at 8 minutes? And that's with a trip to base. As nautilus no less.

perfect cs chart

Yet this Kled was able to literally go toe to toe with me and kill me with just a item 1055 despite the fact that I had all of my abilities, my ult, and I was 2 levels ahead of him.

So at 8 minutes you had 60 cs and were 2 level's ahead of him??

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRocDb9cBIU

so challenger players reach level 6-7 around 8 minutes it looks like. So this guy lasted how long around aroun with your full tank build???

Seriously Riot, every single ability on this guy needs hot fix major nerfs. Any champion in the game should be free kills in that situation.

well ya if you've got a freaking triforce, not a bami's cinder vs a shield champ..............

of course he'd win this, naut has 0 sustain and kled can win against passive players with 0 damage

Well considering I have played for about 4 years, my personal experience counts for a lot.

First minion dies at around 2 minutes in

Minions engage each other around 1:50 top lane.

Assuming you'd know good from bad

If someone has 6 CS after 2 minutes of farming, they are awful. If you don't understand this, please never post again because you clearly don't know jack about playing.

BULLSHIT ALARM

I agree, lots of BS coming from your troll post.

who cares if you're rank 5? All it takes to reach rank five is a functional mouse to click around and troll with.

Yeah, anyone can reach level 5, but it takes a lot of play time on that champion. Lots of play time makes you better. Once again, if you can't understand simple principles like this, don't post.

Is 60 cs even possible at 8 minutes? And that's with a trip to base. As nautilus no less.

It's very possible when you have free farm and if you farm jungle as well. And you can farm well with any champ if you have skills.

So at 8 minutes you had 60 cs and were 2 level's ahead of him??

The 60 is an estimation, I was up 2 levels though.

of course he'd win this, naut has 0 sustain and kled can win against passive players with 0 damage

Naut has a shield which is worth WAY more than sustain at that point and I wasn't playing passive at all since I knew I was WAY ahead.

irrelevant, if you played for one million years the fact you speak from personal experience STILL creates a bias issue

Minions engage each other around 1:50 top lane.

but take another 10 seconds or so to actually die

If someone has 6 CS after 2 minutes of farming, they are awful. If you don't understand this, please never post again because you clearly don't know jack about playing.

I think your post made it pretty clear you're the one who got outplayed It also demonstrates that you very probably have some issues telling time assuming you aren't just lying

I agree, lots of BS coming from your troll post.

You can afk like half of every game and reach level 5, you don't even have to do anything. Bad experience is often worse than no experience at all

It's very possible when you have free farm and if you farm jungle as well. And you can farm well with any champ if you have skills.

The 60 is an estimation, I was up 2 levels though.

"estimation"

Naut has a shield which is worth WAY more than sustain at that point and I wasn't playing passive at all since I knew I was WAY ahead.

doesn't matter, his shield is better for a battle of attrition and he had sustain and damage behind his yours had defense and no offense

You were bound to be run out of lane sooner or later, the real question is how you managed to die before you just did the smart thing and went back to base

Lugg2 votes

You may honestly be the dumbest person I have had a discussion with on this forum. Which is incredibly sad.

Saying that 4 years of experience in ANYTHING is irrelevant is pure stupidity. I'm sorry, there is no other way to say it.

It honestly takes you 10 seconds to kill a minion???

Once again you didn't actually read and comprehend my post. There was ZERO outplay in that fight. It was toe to toe, two champions slugging it out. Plus the Naut had 2 level lead, which is huge at that point in the game and he also had item 3751 which will easily outdamage any sustain the Kled would have in that situation.

If ANY champion can win a fight under those circumstances, they are broken. There is no way you can spin it any other way.

You call me an idiot and you don't even know why 4 years of your personal experiences mean so little?

You are the ignorant one

It honestly takes you 10 seconds to kill a minion???

It takes 10 or more to kill allied minions longer if you push the wave unless you can instantly shove to tower somehow but even then it takes about 10 seconds though you may not have realized this because you were busy having personal experiences playing videogames rather than actually looking at what was going on.

outdamage != enough damage. Additionally he had lifesteal and you very probably did not.

and yes, you can outplay with a slugfest. You got cocky and chose to slug it out thinking it was a smart move, you got baited like a noob and now here you are crying about it.

If ANY champion can win a fight under those circumstances, they are broken. There is no way you can spin it any other way.

Lots of champs could have won that against a 0 damage nautilus.

CerealBoxOfDoom2 votes

And yet you cant seem to come up with a meaningful contradiction.

why don't you just link us to the game and we can skip this conversation about personal experiences you should have had in middle school.

Astôlfo3 votes

Not even close.

Lugg2 votes

So you think it's absolutely fine that a champion that is way behind you can beat you? That's just plain stupid. What is the advantage then of getting ahead of anyone then? You should be rewarded for your play, not punished.

  1. he is no where near as op as some other champions were at first release.
  2. you know Riot introduces new champions they make them op on purpose just keep banning him until the nerfs come.

thats what they said about illaoi and zed all they needed was a damage nerf lol

Lugg2 votes

Try actually reading posts before you embarrass yourself.

BeatzBoyFTW1 votes

Shows what? So if you got rekt by a Garen who's 2 levels lower than you after he manages to reconnect & you're playing a Vayne or Darius top, you'd actually complain about this too? This your logic?

Lugg2 votes

Wow, you really don't understand game balance at all. If you have a lead in lane, it's supposed to matter. Otherwise, what is the advantage of getting ahead in the first place?

zacktootall1 votes

his runes and masteries?

Lugg2 votes

Masteries were 12/0/18 with GotU.

Runes were all AD.

zacktootall1 votes

well that all ad runes alone could explain it but the extra health and/or mr and armor from the masteries only could have help there

In Riot's defense they made it so if you disconnect you gain more xp so that way you might still stand a chance.

That is a very good point that I hadn't considered. Thank you for the insight.
