Utility! Doesn't always belong to supports.
I didn't say that's his "home" but looking at his kit it's pretty apparent that he could do well as a support.
Kind of like how no one was playing naught support because he is classically a Jungler.
I used to play Naut support alot in S3. good times.
He has no utility, he has CC. Theres a difference. And he isn't tanky like Naaut or Leona, and doesn't really have the cc to pull it off...
Would you care to define "utility" to me? Because I define utility as "anything that influences the number of game options you and your teammates have, not including damage." And CC is kinda high in that list. Like...basically all of it.
Utility is healing, shields, buffs, or movement that can be applied to an ally in some way. CC is its own line.
looks to me like a good AP jungler. he'd be wasted in the mid lane due to mediocre range/waveclear from what I see but would be an amazing AP top or AP jungler due to his high base damage, shields and stuns. Epic ganks.
Agree. I already play Lulu everywhere. I have a feeling I'll end up doing the same with him.
Pretty much anyone with utility can be played support with some success, doesnt mean they should.
You need reliable CC at all points to really be able to support (or sustain, if your that kind of support). The setup on his W is so long it is basically unuseable in lane except during jungle ganks.
Slow with Q dash with E throw down W and you are already in it, not hard to set up at all.
The W takes THREE seconds from when you activate the skill till when the field is down (and they are stunned if you use it where you already are).
That is about 6 million years if you convert that to Bot lane time.
Goodbye Jayce Main
Hello Ekko Main. He looks like he'd be an asset as a top/mid/support/jungler considering his utility. Not to mention in the support role he will still be able to build ap while getting support items.
THE BROFFRECINI
I'm gonna do it. They can't stop me.
