Deep Terror Nami2 votesSo far only laned against him once, as mid Veigar; with me having over 1100 AP, my full burst hitting only brought him to half health due to his shields, then he'd promptly wreck me. That was if he didn't Zhonya's my ult or dodge my other 2, in which case I'd simply do nothing before getting wrecked.
I had to let my team bait his cooldowns before going in, 1v1 was impossible past mid game. Ryze is no joke!

Level 6 I teleported in under turret. I knocked him up, silenced him and ATE him before I died.
Under turret.
With a mantle.
He came out at full health.
If he has counters, please give me some pointers, because I hadn't played with this Ryze rework before and it used to be just a pretty passive farming lane... Not "I'm dead if he gets anywhere near me."

R1102 votesYou haven't seen the LCS matches with Ryze in it, have you? A full health Moakai got deleted by Ryze within the duration of Ryze's passive because Moakai got perma-snared for the duration of his passive.

R1102 votesYou do realize a full health Maokai with got destroyed without a way to fight back while having a lvl advantage over the Ryze. All the damage items Ryze had was a Blasting wand and a Doran's ring. During the 6 second window of Ryze's passive Maokai was snared 4 times with a rank 3 W with a 1.25 second snare each. We assume Maokai got 15% tenacity from masteries. 4*1.25 *0.85 = 4.25 that is the duration Maokai wasn't able to fight back nor dash.

's dream gank) and co-ordination around that, but yolo-queue? Just nerf his Q damage down again but make it scale better so Ryze players have to choose between damage or utility early game.
