Kalistas passive needs some kind of gating or restriction on it

The resourceless no-cooldown spammy mobility is just silly.

I figure either it needs a short cooldown between jumps, or it should cost a small amount of mana per jump (like 3 mana per jump, something small but that also adds up if over used).

i think it should get disabled by certain types of cc like silences, and the jump range should drop with slows, so they actually have an effect.

right now the problem is that she can kite you around without limit, if you dont have a hard gap closer and hard cc in your kit. your own movement speed or her movement speed soesnt matter, since the jump always takes her the same distance from you. so even if youre running faster, it just makes her jump further.

If the jump range dropped with slows wouldn't it also need to go up with movespeed? She could take Boots of Swiftness and Ghost and bunny-hop from one nexus to the other.

it kinda does go up with her movespeed.

but it seems to have a minimum range. which makes slows widely uneffective.

  1. She has some of the lowest damage of all ADC's for her mobility.
  2. She can't kite as easily, her defensive jump was nerfed to be the same as her offensive.
  3. How about getting some CC? If you don't have CC against vayne is she OP? Yasuo op cause no CC? Zed op cause no QSS?

CC isn't a fair argument on the grounds that it counters everybody equally. A stunned character is an easy mark nomatter who they are.

And I really don't think it's an unfair argument that a mobility skill, even a passive, should have some sort of restrictions on it. A 1 second cooldown between hops for example.

Kalisita is designed around her hopping. I gurantee you you're NEVER going to see a nerf to her being unable to hop.

CC is a fair argument, and it doesn't matter if it's the same for everyone. CC is how you counter mobility and prevent immobile monsters from getting to your squishies.

If someone has mobility, CC is how you stop that mobility. It's not a hard concept.
