Why is Shyvana's Q's damage so low (40 ad)?

I would understand if we were still in the age of devourer where it would apply on hit effects to be effective but most of the on hit items are no longer in meta so she is left with a really soft offensive ability that most players level up last.

looks at Flame Breath looks at Bloodrazor That's 6.5% max health damage on each auto. Which goes up to 13% max health damage. Not even counting the possibility of a BorK, Titanic Hydra, or Black Cleaver, she's got some insane synergy that gets really out of control if left alone. Also, max Flame Breath last dude. Ranking it only affects the CD and a small damage increase which is mostly worthless.

Because back in the day of stacking jungle enchants she was queen of the devourer junglers as she had strong early game damage and could bully other junglers out of their turf while still scaling into a monster. So they hit her early game damage, which was sensible, but then removed stacking jg items entirely without undoing her nerfs. They have done this to plenty of champs, this was just Shyvana's turn.

shyvanna's actual Q damage is 140% ad at rank one. its an aa reset. for an aa reset the damage is pretty high actually. if she wasn't building on hit but rather ad she would burst people very quick as her Q would have a 200% ad ratio at rank 5.

Actually, it doesn't reset her AA if you are using the Super Galaxy skin, but I think that might be a bug.

its an aa reset. and at rank five its a double 11 reset. because its 200% ad which is two autos worth of damage.
