if youre playing

and youre in melee form when the nexus explodes, do you get the mission?

you could literally just play as a marksman and swap to hammer stance just before the game ends.

A rioter made a post a couple weeks ago listing the champions who count as range.

Kayle does not count as ranged Ivern does not count as ranged Jayce, Nidalee, and Elise all do count as ranged. The form you're in at the end of the match is irrelevant.

hey, its a legit question. jayce is classified as a fighter on the in client champion page.

its not like shapeshifting champs have clear general ranged or melee tags. as far as items go, it changes depending on their stance.

means he could proc item 3748 only in hammer stance and item 3085 only in ranged stance.

she might even count as melee, since shes melee by default. only her e makes her ranged.

it would definitely be a way to cheese around these missions if it worked.

Remember. The mission isn't to win with a full melee composition. It's to win with no ranged champion. I think that's why Jayce/Nid/Elise doesn't work as although they are considered melee, they still have a ranged tag which nullifies the mission completion.
