Fighting Autofill Problems

Let's face it. The new autofill is causing more champion select frustrations than it it is solving queue time frustrations. Chances are, it's not going to go away.

Since it isn't going away, I believe everyone should do their very best to swap around the roles until everyone is on a role that is as comfortable to them as possible. I encourage you all to work together to get everyone into their desired position

I like the attitude you have but in lower elo there's too many selfish or otherwise just plain old tilted players who won't settle for anything less than the main role they queue'd up for and it's virtually impossible to reason with half of them try as you may. I mean, I do like the attitude you have about it as it's the same one I have but unfortunately it's not the most common attitude in Bronze and Silver. lol

Or people can just play the role they are assigned, with a champion that can fill that role, and do their best to not hurt the team...

I'll comfortably play any role but ADC. If I get auto filled to ADC, I just tell the team it's a bad role for me. if somebody trades great! If not, I warned them... I won't troll thought, I'll pick a safe champ and just farm for the first 20-25 minutes and wait for team fights to begin. Then let the chips fall where they may :)

Your asking one of the most toxic gaming communities ever to work together to solve the champ select issues, its not going to happen, while i can comfortably play every role to an extent, other people will simply say fuck you when you want to jungle over adc, then flame you for not being a challenger tier adc player when you simply got put there because of autofill

I disagree with this. Dodges aren't much more common than last season but queue times are really good and "fill" doesn't automatically mean support anymore.

I disagree. On average I'm faced with between 7-9 dodges before each game that I play ever since auto-fill was enabled in Bronze and Silver. Beforehand I was only experiencing maybe 1-3 dodges throughout the course of several games. Maybe I'm just unlucky or perhaps you're a lucky one, I don't know.

Because of the increased frequency of dodges though it now takes me upwards of 10-20 minutes to get into a game where no one dodges as compared to the 2-5 minutes it used to take before the dodges happened which quite coincidentally was also before auto-fill was enabled in the Bronze and Silver elo brackets. It's rather frustrating... x.x
