WHY. THE FUCK. IS THIS OKAY?

Ban new champs/reworks from ranked for fuck sake. It is a statistical fact that they have atrocious winrates and ruin ranked games.

She doesn't play all that differently to old Irelia, and she has been on the PBE for a while already. It's not your job to police your team.

She really is not that different from old Irelia.. Also many people try out things in the PBE. How did it go for your teammate? Did he/she feed or get fed?

It's a double edge sword -- while the person hasn't been able to master her neither have the people learned how to counter her. Riot has explained in the past why they won't remove new/rework champs from ranked games. If you're unhappy -- you have a ban available.

Banned her. Guy decided to troll and his duo partner banned my hover. Luckily someone else dodged.

What you do is you ban Irelia. Tilt that top laner so he starts to flame you and hovers something ridiculous like fiddlesticks adc. Then you screenshot it and send it to riot support and get him a ban. While playing a new champ in ranked the day it comes out isn't technically bannable, if you follow this strat you will likely get at least one person a solid penalty.

Now, of course, if your top laner isn't a degenerate and is understanding of why you banned Irelia, then thats also a very good outcome

It depends on the Elo..if its low elo then yes...most likely they will fail....as in the 3 games ive seen her in so far the team that had her LOST.

But higher elo it really shouldnt matter....they are skilled enough to pick up on most champs

besides this rework on Irelia is really simple..........hell the hardest thing to perfect on her is using her E and thats not really hard either...but it is the hardest of her abilities.

you have to take into context that the PBE exists and they could have played her on that. In most situations, though it is best to at least ask the person. If they say no then ban her. If they say yes let them do what they want.

Statistically that is bullshit and in 90% of cases its going to be some asshole first timing the new release. There is a reason new champions have 30-40% winrates in ranked.
