You can't rely on your jungler. Don't go into a game with the idea that you will win lane with jungle ganks. If you get ganked and killed then it's 100% your fault for dying. Yes your jungler could gank, but if every lane dies because they're overextending without wards, then your jungler will be very behind and won't be capable of much. You need to go into games only relying on your own skill, and if your jungler decided to grace you with a gank and help you out then consider yourself lucky and say thank you to your considerate teammate.

the jungler's bad what do you do? Complain and do nothing --> lose or get good and win?

I'm suprised you're not trying to convince people for a surrender option on the loading screen.

I don't main jungle, I've only just started practicing it this season because of the changes.

Just don't trust junglers (actually in fact don't trust anyone). Pretend he is afk or something. If the jungler is good, we will see results from the other laners and objectives and if he/she didn't then 4v5 it is then..

Sounds toxic. Probably best to not complain that one of your team-mates isn't as good as you want them to be. It accomplishes nothing positive for your team, and can make you out to be an asshole.

Also, that Jungler was also not much better.

also learn to say stuff that sounds intelligent like "it's not your job to win lane for me, but it IS your job to help secure objectives and pressure the lanes to help your team win" "Come gank bot then we do dragon." You gotta have a plan. Cant just sound whiny

except the other team has a real jungler and did everything to help his team unlike jungle mains on gd

I just had a jungle Nasus game, and my mid lane Yasuo has the exact same attitude as this guy here. Only that he is already mumbling that he lost lane before the 1:30 minute mark. Can't stand sissy laners nowadays.

"Oh the other jungler ganked 3 times !!!". STOP PUSHING OR WARD DEEP. You don't need to end the lane phase so early if you can zone the enemy laner.

ward deep so i can get caught? how does one zone when they are behind? Teach me rofl

If you are pushing top you can back a little a ward deep river/jungle. If you watch for your top laner you can predict if the jungle is there. if you, a solo laner, can't solo the jungler during early/mid, the joke is on you.

Mid you have 2 spots that you can ward deep.

I guess you dont understand when to push and when to zone. Or your laner is so ahead that diving is a safe kill.

Warding is useless when tanks can dive you under tower with minimal risk of dying.

It depends on the circumstances.

My basic input as a jungler; generally, it's only good to gank if they leave an opening. If the lane is pushed about evenly to the middle, unless you're specifically a gank-focused jungler like Lee Sin, Kha'zix, Rek'sai, etc., it's not worth it.

If the other team had you pushed to your turret, or--really specific circumstance--their jungler ganked while your jungler wasn't too far from your lane to be there in ~15 seconds, and your jungler didn't gank, they're not paying attention and/or just not giving a damn. That's an inattentive or dickish jungler, depending on if they even noticed.

And if you're asking for ganks, they should be paying attention for an opening to gank. That's the jungler's job during laning phase.

Ganking is not the only useful thing a jg can do. you should be helping put pressure on the lane and help damage the first outer tower whenever you get an opportunity. Junglers seem to forgot how big taking a tower is.

JustMyBassCannon1 votes

Yeah, it's definitely good to be applying pressure and pushing towers too, but (1) applying pressure requires the same thing as ganking: proper setup to actually scare the people in the lane instead of just walking by and saying "Hi," and (2) pushing towers is obvious; if your jungler is ignoring towers, they might need to learn the basic mechanics of the goddamn game first.

One cannot simply compare the amount one jungler ganks to another. Shaco vs Nautilus, who ganks more?

If you ward key points (including, yes, spending gold), don't overextend, and waste the enemy jungler's time by playing safe when he visits and denying kills, you really ought to be getting ganks. If you're pushed to tower and roughly even with your enemy laner, a good jungler is going to say to himself "Man, looks like the perfect time to gank." And as long as you follow up, you'll probably burn their flash and maybe get a kill.

Yes, jungler circlejerks exist, but the opposites do too. The only way for both sides to avoid headaches and raging at each other is to work together. There's going to be shitty junglers who wouldn't gank a lane if there was a neon sign over an extended enemy's head and no wards in their inventory, and there's going to be laners who overextend for days and whine about not getting ganks.
