talking about autofilled supports or roaming supports leaving the adc to die in 1v2 situations or to assassins. it also gets me thinking why riot purposely made ardent shit laughably overtuned where all you need to do is stalk ur own ADC.
Used to be Caitlyn before nerfs to her, not sure if she is still good, but she used to have good synergy with every support, and one of the best adcs in 1 vs 2 lane situation.
You want ADCs that have strong lanning, escapes, or wave clear. MF is strong lanner and can 1v2 after lvl 2-3 Lucian is strong in lane and has escapes Sivir can clear waves quickly so they cant push you in
mf and xayah, mostly xayah just because her ult alone can turn a mid roam and dive into a ez triple on top of being a very independent laner
Trist has great wave clear and an on demand escape.

Sivir or Tristana.
Sivir is good for sieging and dealing with 1v2 stuff, and your spellshield is an out of jail free card.
Tristana can't really siege but she's got more overall safety in teamfights.
If we don't consider the meta, Lucian and Ezreal have always been great "soloQ ADCs" where you can save your own ass should your team ever forget you.
