Hi guys, just looking for some advice on what to do when someone picks Urgot top. I can't seem to find a champion that can even remotely lane against him top lane. Do you just pick a tank and survive or are there some things I should be looking for to counter Urgot?

Well in the rare case that Urgot is picked at all, his poke is fucking strong as fuck but if you have someone with a spell shield to block his e his poke combo pretty much becomes useless until his e comes back up again.
Farm/outscale lategame
You out-sustain his mana with your healing or you can man-mode it and just kill him over and over with nothing he can do about it.
So there are a lot of things you need to take into consideration. One being are you getting hit by his slow? If so do you're best to avoid that so he doesn't just get off a really easy trade against you. If the slow hits you his Qs auto target you and he just spams Q until you die. Pretty cheap I know. Against Urgot I like to play really Bursty champions top. Champs like 
. Building a early sustain item like 
can be really good to not only sustain in lane but win more trades
I'm wondering how Trundle would do. He has a lot of natural sustain, and can probably bully Urgot at level 1-2. You'd have to play safe from 3-6, but after 6 you could throw the W down to catch up to him, save your pillar and ult, then use both after Urgot ults. Urgot is also really weak to ganks, and Trundle can sustain farm under turret easily.
