The Diana patch notes show a major disconnect from the reality of the game

These patch notes are complete non-sense.

By giving her access to Lunar Rush as a basic ability, we're unlocking one of Diana's core mechanics earlier and in the laning phase, allowing her to fight against and interact with enemies before she hits level 6. The change also allows her to effectively gank early as a jungler too, which is a massive increase to her effectiveness in that role.

Except she has no dueling potential, will be invaded to shit by every meta jungle, and with the current state of jungle EXP, you normally don't even want to gank early. As an added bonus, she's terrible at taking dragons. Why even bother pointing out a 'massive increase to her effectiveness' that bumped her from extremely ineffective to mostly ineffective?

Additionally, Diana's new ultimate now significantly opens her up to more options as the game progresses, giving her both teamfight and skirmish capabilities that were previously inaccessible to her. This also adds a lot of variety to how she approaches fights, so her goal isn't always to nuke a single person with a full combo.

What variety? She changed from 'nuke a single person with a full combo' to 'nuke as many people as possible with a full combo.' She can't do anything else. She doesn't have the mobility to skirmish, she doesn't have a disengage, and she doesn't have the survivability to support diving without blowing her target(s) up.

Without even going in to the weird changes, like the bonus HP ratio on her W. Building her towards the AP bruiser fantasy doesn't work, because of the problems mentioned above, and the lack of AP bruiser itemization.

What's even going on here?

Wow its almost like Diana was terribly designed from the beginning and has been a problem since release.

Give the champ the VGU she deserves.
