Some ideas on how to fix Veig, Morde and co.

Veigar His Q and R are fine as they are, really. His E just needs reliability. I've got an idea for his W too: W - Considering this is a difficult skillshot to hit, hitting it should be rewarded. Give this a powerful slow or a stun. E - Give it a slow during the initial 0.75s cast time, that way it'll still feel like it does something even if the stun whiffs, and it'll be more reliable to use in life-or-death situations. With these changes, Veigar can set up his killing combo without an instant stun (which, I have to admit, was kind of disgusting) He'll have some utility with his W's AoE stun/slow too ^^

tl;dr slightly more utility and reliability

Mordekaiser Considering he's being turned into a fighter now, he'll need the utility that a usual fighter offers. Look at Riven, she has an AoE knockup, an AoE execute and an AoE stun! Thus, I'd like to add some utility to Morde. This is a large list, and not everything has to be implemented, a few of these changes would really help our metal buddy though. Q - This now slows slightly, let's say a very low amount for the basic one (10%-20% for a few seconds) and a lot stronger for the isolated one (about 50%) He now benefits from his Q increasing his AA range, he can catch up to people and punish them properly if they're out of position. W - If he's being turned into a top lane fighter, this should give him extra MS when it's on him or maybe reduce MS of champions who get damaged by this. Currently, he's too difficult in top because he's really easy to gank, which is why people prefer him mid. This is why you give him multiple means of escape, he can be the fighter you want him to be Rito ^^ E - Now stuns the target for a tiny amount (0.5s-1.5s debatable) if the target is ulted. R - Gives vision of the target. The guy's trying to send you straight to the grave! Wouldn't it be awesome to get the feeling of "Oh crap, he's watching me, I'm not safe anywhere, I gotta keep moving!" whenever he has you ulted? The guy knows your location for a LONG time, you need to run yo! You could use this in different ways, too. For example, ulting the enemy jungler before finishing off Baron would allow you to see him and check out if he's trying to steal it.

tl;dr lots of utility with slows/stuns, adjusted to be a top lane fighter.

Kassadin Q - Currently, his laning phase is too forgiving. His Q is a large part of this. He starts crystalline and 3 pots, together with his W this gives him sustain to stay in lane for a VERY long time, you can't poke him out of lane and you can't kill him in lane either ('cause he's always topped up). This is why he should be a really bad trader. Nerf the numbers on the shield for earlier levels and make it scale up to what it currently is on the later levels. R - Revert back to its original state. This is his identity, and it isn't what his problem was.

tl;dr nerf early laning, keep late game potential and revert his R

I am only going to comment on the Veigar portion of this thread, because he is the only changed champion I have plyed so far.

I agree with you on the Q and R being fine. I think the Q is much better for last hitting, kiting, and poking, and the Ult AP ratio nerf goes unnoticed because of how much easier it is to power farm with Q now.

Yes, Veigar's W is an unreliable skill shot, but it is very rewarding to land (I'd say a 100% AP scaling is pretty good for a non-ultamite skill, even if it is unreliable).

His current E is just fine the way it is. People can't just walk up to an enemy and expect to hit the stun and 100-0 them. Veigar should have to catch the enemy in a bad position to stun them, and I think the stun is still incredibly reliable.

The problem is, the stun might still be reliable to use offensively, but have you thought about defense? When you get ulted by a Zed? When a Katarina jumps on top of you? When you get Akali-d? You can't stun em and run away anymore. A slow would help in defensive situations like that.

As a mage, in most scenarios you shouldn't expect to win a fight against as an assassin.

One of the great things about Veigar's stun (pre and post 5.4) is that it makes a great disengage. If an assassin were to hop on you, you could simply throw that stun wall around you and get out. And if they walk into the wall, kill them. Simple as that.

That doesn't mean that you shouldn't have any means of getting away from them trying to murder you. It doesn't make a great disengage post 5.4 anymore, not in 1v1s. It's easy to spot and juke around and is not a reliable anti-assassination tool anymore.
