The 2009 Champions have one of the most toxic things in their kit like extremely impactful point and click spells. Annie and Nunu are good examples for that.

Point and click spell a Skillshot? They did that already.. With Ryze.
And if Nunu E were a skill shot, they'd have to massively increase it's speed and it'd still suck. Why? Because it's only good because it's a nice point and click slow with some nice AP scaling.

Scrub can apply to any sort of thinking when an individual proposes bad ideas for a non-existent problem.
It's as bad as the people who QQ about fireball spam.
Counterplay is not playing dodgeball. counter play means strategies used to deal with or handle your opponent. Nunu, fiddle, and Annie have plenty of counterplay built into their kits.
It's simply a fact that everyone is so used to every new champion have a skillshot esque ability built in they don't think anything else has counterplay.
click and point abilities serve to counter high mobility champions such as kallista, who make landing those important skillshot.people hard. They allow a form of reliable, usually weaker, cc to deal with higher mobility champs and allow low ranged immobile champs to deal with others.

(Nunu doesn't really have a clear identity, Fiddlesticks has a click fear and combined with flash ult and W, can tear up a carry with very little counterplay, Annie we all know why or should know.)

In fact the more mobile champions we get the worse effects of skillshots are.
I'd say I'd prefer playing unchanged 2009 champions than dash-to-win 2015...
