"Stealth glow" is pretty annoying on Evelynn. Is there a way to make it togglable?

excuse my ignorance if there is already an option to turn it off

I'm talking about this feature:

I mean, it's a useful feature for camouflage abilities with short duration, but it feels like a big commitment for Evelynn to move to the pink world pretty much permanently

EDIT: Okay, so apparently a lot of people don't know that Evelynn didn't have this feature before (unlike other stealth champions). Here, watch Faker play Evelynn on the previous patch

Screen tints can be useful for calling attention to specific state changes, so in a lot of cases they're valuable to reinforce when a champion is/isn't invisible or camouflaged. Given that's such a core part of Eve's play though, something the player's considering constantly, would agree that's not necessary here.

come on, this topic doesnt even have a solid support and its already taken in consideration and even actions. Simply add a toggle on the options menu, so anyone who dont like it can turn it off, but i dont see a reason why Evelynn players will be deprived of this nice new feature. I main and play Eve for few seasons now and i dont find it irritating. Its actually much better to get your screen colored for a while instead of constantly watch the passive cd and your champion textures.

It does have a solid support, there are many threads on that with many upvotes, but I agree that leaving it as an option is the best solution.

Are you adding back the audio cue for stealth/de-stealth?

Please don't remove the pink shit and then NOT give us back our sound effect.

Also is it gonna be a toggle (option menu and/or settings file) or is it gonna be "pink shit disabled for everyone"?

Note: I am in favor of "remove the pink shit" but I DO need the audio on stealth/destealth. If I was down for having no pink shit + no audio I woulda just removed it by modding the game. No pink shit + no audio will make Eve pretty hard to play.

I actually enjoyed that screen while playing Eve, it really gave something nice to her instead of that screeching sounds that made my ears explode. It really sucks that because of a few players its gone now...

Eve is one of 130 champions. Which means Eve mains player base is minor part of community. And from that minor part, only another minor decided to raise their voice about it.

At least thats the logic I learned recently from people saying that "minority of community wants normal drafts" back, so I decided to follow that example and say "a few", since it's only fraction of a fraction of community.

It seems like camouflage was rewritten from the ground up. The audio for stealth/destealth was completely removed, and replaced with the pink screen. It makes no sound at all on stealth/destealth.

Hi I'm just replying again cuz I'm a little stressed out about this.

If you remove the pink tint without putting the stealth audio cue and destealth audio cue back into the game, it'll be worse off than before (it would have been better if you just left the pink tint alone in that case).

TY very much for this change. Can you give any context for the stealth changes to Eve? specifically takeing dmg doesn't reset her passive timer or unstealth her anymore.

Just checked and it finally hit the PBE. Pink tint is removed and the audio cue for stealth/destealth didn't get added back.

You guys literally made her worse (and assuming the patch is locked in - it's going to go live like this).

Do yall even play your own game? When you "fix" something fix it right. Don't make it worse. Holy shit. I literally could have removed it like this with Wooxy using mods. What I couldn't do is add back the audio and do it properly (like you guys should have).

If you guys aren't going to add back the audio cues, can you make screen tint enabled by default, and add an option in the option menu to disable it for ALL stealth champs? (Including both invisibility AND camouflage)
If you do add back the audio cues, make sure it's the old cues (or at least a new unique sound that isn't being used for anything else). If you use a sound effect that's already used for something else (eg: the sound it makes when you're revealed to someone) then it won't be communicating clear information.

Audio cue wasn't added back this patch. Can you pass that information to the people in charge?

Make sure if you add the audio cue back, it's not a sound that is currently in her kit (which would communicate unclear info)

I hope they can be restored cause I loved those SFX, they really gave you that sneaky/stalker feeling when you went stealth mode, ready to stalk someone. Also her VFX got changed from a nice elaborate puff of red smoke to and small quickly dissipating green/blue smoke, that doesent have nearly the same feel to it as the old red puff. (but maybe this one is just taste, but I feel very strongly that the old VFX fitted much better and made engaging stalk mode much more epic. )

Though something to indicate you have been spotted when your character is not in the field of view would be nice.

Well pink tint didn't help there either. Your screen would stay pink even if you're spotted unless the camouflage is broken. And receiving damage doesn't break it anymore.

Not to bother you Meddler, but Evelynn still has a lot of sound effect glitches, for example her taunt it's time to Feed is not triggerable. which is a shame because vocally she's pretty silent. other then that in the remake it would be nice for the you have been Revealed Icon to work properly off minions/wards. I find if I'm in a warded bush and Minions walk by it reveals me to players who are not in range of my circle. I don't mind that I've been revealed, but it would be nice to know or have some sort of indication for the learning curve.

I guess it must've been something I mentally added, since I play far more Twitch than Evelynn ...

... Twitch had a dark bluish overlay on his stealth before, right?

What a bunch of incompetent fucks. Because the whooshing sound, character turning transparent, and that giant invisibility ring weren't enough. We now have the technicolored dream show filling the entire fuckn screen! ITS ANNOYING! Evidently riot feels that players want to play the game through a series of cycling Instagram filters.... There was nothing wrong with the old way of doing things. In seven years I've never said, "Shit! I can't tell if I'm invisible or not." Stop the foolishness and go back to what was.

I won't play until they fix it. I have a god damn headache after that.

Stealth glow? You mean the little shimmer effect when you get hit by something? For Evelynn in specific, doesn't getting hit reveal her? Also, the stealth shimmer is the counterplay for stealth, so no, there's no way to turn it off.

No, I mean when the screen changes the color to pink-ish whenever you enter "camouflage". It happens way too often on Evelynn and it doesn't feel good to run around with pink glasses on all the time.

It's an overlay and it adds to her theme / fantasy - it's the closest Riot can get to her being 'in shadow'.

Every champions who has stealth in their kit uses the same overlay thingy. Evelynn was actually the exception which is understandable because she spends most of the time in stealth

No, she never had this feature. It's pretty obnoxious because you enter and leave stealth way too often and sometimes you're in stealth "just because", not because you want to ambush someone, so you don't need that kind of reminder 24/7. The detection circle is enough.

Just came here to post the same thing.

First thing I do in the preseason patch is to check how Evelynn is at jungling now. Turns out, the jungling isn't as much a problem as the fact that I can't see a thing in this tinted world.
