A big issue with the boards in G&B
It seems that if you want a post to even see the day of light, rather than be downvoted into oblivion, you need to cater to the big opinions at the time. If your post isn't complaining about
,
,
,
, or dynamic Q, or saying X low play rate champion is far too weak or has some messed up must be fixed now mechanic, then your opinion will be suffocated from the community.
I don't think people on G&B realize what upvoting and downvoting are meant for. An upvote is meant to bring a discussion to the attention of others, no matter if it fits your opinion or not. Meanwhile, a downvote is meant to keep something which presents no form of discussion or cohesive information away from the spotlight.
My own opinion on some of these matters differ widely from what will be on the front pages, and if I dare try to state it, there is an immediate storm of downvotes preventing any reasonable discussion about the topic. I don't care if there would be opinions stated with or against mine, as long as they were constructive and not demeaning.
For example, I don't think
herself is OP or broken, but rather the juggernaut items (which are meant to help slow juggernauts against poke and kiting) synergize far too strongly with mobile melees kits, and
is just the prime example of this case, while other champions such as
,
,
,
and
are also strong with these items despite them not supposed to be.
Another example, is that of dynamic Q. I see far too many threads which try to claim they get placed against premades game after game, without showing much proof as to how they know the enemies were premade aside from an assumption because they simply were more coordinated, and pay no attention to how low of a chance it actually is for them to get a game against a size-able premade to where it would actually effect their climbing experience. It just seems as though people claim or assume better teams are a premade simply because they know it's a possibility so they make the assumption as a defense mechanism to avoid acknowledging they simply were worse than the enemy.
Let's make this a discussion! Please leave a comment down below as to whether you agree or disagree and why, we can talk about the matter and potentially learn from one another, strengthening our knowledge of the game!
