My take on Soraka

First off: the current changes are great so far

Nice cleanup of Q. Hitting the sweet spot was so rare anyway that you hardly miss the damage and the slow is now actually usable.

Alignment is bloody brilliant. It fixes the issue most old Soraka mains had with the rework: restoring allied mana. A lot of us, including Vesh were banging our heads on how to get that back in, well done.

Combined with the nerf to W It also adds adds more counterplay. If she wants to keep the same level of sustain, she has to use the Q properly which presents opportunities for the enemy.

However despite the added counterplay the changes aren't enough, they don't quite address the main Issue Soraka has: Too much lane sustain, too little in combat heal. If anything they even reduce her in combat heal. there should be a benefit for hitting Q on multiple targets.

For example: If Starcall damages a champion Soraka gains a stack of Alignment (max five) Astral Infusion transfers a stack of Alignment to her Ally.

This also makes a great thematic effect: if you make use of successive Q and W to refresh the buff, you can improve the "Alignment" of your team.

Values obviously need proper adjustments.

Bonus point: there could even be visuals connection all champs affected by Alignment and thus creating a constellation.

Alternatively (or additionally) add a combat only heal to Equinox: Equinox heals allies standing on it equal to the damage dealt.

After all it means point of equality. Please note it says damage dealt, meaning the healing will only occur if Equinox hit's both allies and enemies.
