Bloodstone Taric is too Pink

Granted it is not as pink as Armor of the Fifth Age, but it is far from a blood red. This is quick edit with color slider. Also the change in skin tone to something a bit healthier than "creepy vampire purple grey" also makes him more appelaing an charismatic as is fitting for Taric. Improve a bit on that claw of a hand and you really have a great taric skin that can compete with the other three. (not saying that my edits are that much of an improvement, but I think if the original artist made these changes it would make it perfect)

inb4 deeper red is a more expensive pallet of color in Photoshop so making this change would increase the price of skin.

I thought so too. Wouldn't mind if they took your edit even further and made it a darker crimson red so that his gems in both the model and splash art look even more like the color of blood.

Wooo! I've been complaining about this for days, at least it is darker red than the original. I don't think it will be the right color until they match the color the used for skarner, and lissandra. I do also miss his gem armor... Too bad there isn't a traditional skin for him. :)

I have Emerald and Bloodstone, I prefer Bloodstone on live.. and I prefer Emerald on PBE.. I couldn't put my finger on what I disliked about the new Bloodstone Taric.. it was the colors, Good spot

We need to get this pushed back into view for Riot. I don't want the pinkish "monstrosity" call "Bloodstone" to be released as is. I want it to be DARK AND TERRIFYING!

I much prefer the CURRENT version of the skin as well as the in-game model.

I definitely do not agree with your edited version.

Why I prefer the original to your version:

Your version is too red. The warmth is far too much. This gives off the wrong vibe. The theme becomes more of Fire than that of blood. Taric ends up looking sweaty. Look at Bloodstone Lyssandra and again we can see the artist used a fair amount of pinks/purples in the colors. This is because its not "Firestone" but instead "boodlstone".
Its too simple. The edited version is like saying "oh well blood is red so lets drop some red paint on it and call it a day". It ignores a sense of color depth. Its like saying Nocturnes splash is not black enough because he has shades of blue and other colors.
The original used better contrast. The best "dark" imagery in art have a great sense of contrast but only when its done right. The saying is true "the brighter the light, the deeper the shadow" and i think thats what the artist was going for.
The original conveys exactly the artists own interpretation. You can look at any piece of art and say "oh.. i think it should be blah blah blah" all you want. Sometimes it might come off better to the audience as a whole but it still comes down to personal taste. In this case, I think any changes to it just makes it look tacky. The artist went with a vampire-like theme due to the .. vampire-like theme, "Bloodstone".

Basically I almost always gravitate towards the artists original look XD

The edit looks really nice no doubt and I actually think I like the edited version better, but what about keeping the whole "Taric" (You know) pink thing?
