Since Assassins rework is on the board I have one idea for Rengar's ultimate.
Since it would be a complete disaster to remove the Stealth from his ultimate since it would make Rengar a "No Rengar" completely gutting his personality of a most fierce hunter in the LoL universe based on AVP Predator character I have one suggestion for you Riot.
I know that no one of you said that Rengar is going to lose his stealth, but considering that he's one of the great 4 for almost complete overhaul I am really worried about his personality as a hunter and as a jungler (considering that wast majority of Rengar mains are playing him in the jungle).
R - Leave the leap and ferocity gain system as it is now but, what about a non complete removal of a stealth? Instead of a full stealth with "!" exclamation mark, wouldn't it be a good idea to give him some kind of mimic similar to Predator's stealth from AVP? Rengar's body in game should look somehow glassy, similar to Steel Legion Lux's Lucent Singularity (E) but without Light Effects? Ofc, since he would be visible he should get some MS buff and should be immune to auto attacks during the "Stealth" but not immune to aoe spels and skill shoots.
That would leave a lot of space for a proper counter play if someone has a good map awareness but in the same time it is not going to gut his ultimate since he is not going to be able to receive AAs and point click abilities.
Pros and Cons:
Pros: Gives a lot of room for a counter play patterns like dash, flash, group up, protect and skill shot based damage and CC (Morgana's Binding, Thresh's Death Sentence, Bard's ultimate, etc) Doesn't change Rengar's personality, Rengar players can use a specific terrain on the rift so Rengar's body will be potentially less visible on the grass terrain or in the river, and they will be forced to play around that similar to Predator from AVP that was sort of less visible in the jungle but more visible on the ground brown terrains.
Cons: If noticed, can be punished hard. ADC's whines won't be justified since they will be able to hit him with skill shoots if they see him, if they Don't, they'll die.
