% health is not cool and way too generalized

It should be only granted to a handful of champions specialized in melting. Preferably immobile champions that have clear weaknesses otherwise Malzahar KogMaw Trundle come to mind.

As for %health true damage... I don't even...

And kindred about to get % (current i think?) health infinite scaling damage. Can we stop with that? Tanks are not a problem anymore. There's more than enough things to kill them. I would like %health to be toned down in preseason. Or at least put a cap. And stop releasing people with that mechanic.

(muh infinite scaling Sion )

maybe someone will finally realise how stupidly broken item 3153 is, which in all honesty should be removed entirely from the game, as being completely unfun for anyone who tries to build some health

But we don't need %health to kill tanks. %health just favourises carries and squishy champions more than it should, because you simply deal less damage than you should against them if you have %health. Also tanks are perfectly killable with a crit build as an AD carry or an AP heavy build as a DPS mage. We don't need %health damage mechanics on every champion. Strategic counterplay should be a thing, and not every champion should be granted free pass for their kits to work more than they should against tanks/ less good than they should against low health pool champions. I'm tired of this, because it even reinforces the focus of the meta on carries, which have received enough love imo. Paired with the mobility creep and gradual removal of point&click in favour of skillshots, which have more counterplay BUT are way harder to place on the backline.

I do not understand how OP is getting negatively feedbacked,

But really, there are just undeniably way too many %HPs running around in this game, and should be trimmed down a bit.

Tanks actually are a problem for burst heavy teams. Tanks are meant to counter burst, instead of just be team shields like how they were played so often during the tank meta.

DPS champions are meant to counter tanks, and burst counters DPS. Your team should have a combination of all of these on your team.

You'd be surprised at how many people, even in ranked, don't realize the tank domination is over. They stack tank on top of tank in champion select like it's a few months ago.

We are out of the tank meta, and that is to be expected. It always changes. There's always going to be people who are upset about the meta. Do you remember how many people on G&B could not stop talking about how much they hated tank meta, and how unkillable they were?

Another thread complaining about % health damage....

I check the match history... and its a Nasus main! 5th time!

And your secondary's are Gnar and Renekten... I might take these posts a little more seriously, If they weren't ALWAYS made by people who play tanky, often self sustaining brawlers...

My secondaries are mostly Master Yi and Veigar. I also play Jax and Yasuo. Nasus synergizes more with resists than he does with health and he has %health in his kit that's not necessarily needed (his ult does 75% of the target's max health over the duration on magic damage. But it actually has a cap, like Poppy's Q, aaand.. that's all I think. I have no idea why Riot stopped giving caps on newly released champions when it comes to %health. It makes sure it doesn't go through the roof, while still retaining their enhanced effectiveness against tanky champions) So? Any other conclusions?

My champion with the most mastery this season is Master Yi and yet I think item 3153 sucks by design, despite it being a core item on Yi. Playing a champion doesn't mean always wanting what makes the champion overpowered. Where is your god now? Silver vayne player...

Point was I might care more if these didn't always seem to be posted by people who want Susan, or Mundo, or Vlad, ect.... to become unstoppable if they get fed enough!

As for Vayne, I'm FAR from a main, I only picked her up about 5 weeks ago because I was so sick of the bruiser meta, and how consistently entire teams of tanky champs could just bowl over anything in their path! If tanks didn't put out more damage then a lot of ADC's right now maybe you'd have a point, but until rito re-balances the whole field...

Bruiser meta was in season 2, you're a bit late on that one. It's been a while they have fell in competitive and in soloQ. ADCs dealing less damage than tanks? yeaaaaaaaa sure. Tbh, and I'll repeat it, %health damage is not needed to kill tanks at all. You could take botrk and make it deal the damage it deals to a 1.5k HP target (before you say anything, since it's in %current health, it corresponds to the average damage dealt to a 3k health target), and the item would be not much different. The fact that tanks are unkillable without %health, that %health counters only tanks is a bullshit bronze myth. %health sucks, first from the fact it does have usually quite poor scaling into lategame, except if you got a strong ratio on it, which is quite rare but some do (Fiora ) It has weak synergy with other items usually, it's either attack speed/ pene and doesn't scale well with crit for AD/ well with raw AP for AP. (example : elise). It's just there to make people have averagely more damage against tanks. I do see a thing with %health on tanks, which is : ok wet noodle fights were really boring, so we gave %health damage on an average cooldown spell so that tanks actually deal a (really small but somehow noticeable) amount of damage to each other (Maokai Sion DrMundo ). But botrk is really in a weird spot. Most people pick it not for reasons that are not tank melting and get anti-tank efficiency. What does botrk give? Duelling potential, attack speed and strong on-hit for early powerspike on champions like Vayne Twitch MasterYi synergy with devourer also is a thing. They take it for these reasons, and they get free tankmelting for something they didn't even "bother thinking about". There are a lot of spells given randomly with %health, which is still a mechanic that kinda counters health stacking/ defeats the purpose of Sion's supposed infinite scaling on W for nothing. Like, it could be changed to base damage and nobody would bat an eye. It wouldn't even be that weak against tanks.
