How much longer do we have to wait for turret plating gold/early snowballing to be fixed?

I'd honestly rather take the bottom lane fiesta of last season over this season's 'team with the lane that goes 0-7 by 10 minutes loses the game' bullshit.

Why did the season even start without any of this being addressed?

Riot likes to do this thing where they make changes that LOOK like what players want (more tower hp in this case) and in reality stick to their terrible design (faster games with dem LCS PLAYZ!) that people wanted gone in the first place. I'm thoroughly convinced this was their stance with the recent jungle changes.

Stated Goal: We want to reduce jungler pressure on lanes, specifically those that level 2 gank.

Actual Results: Viable jungler pool reduced further, level 2 gankers even more encouraged.

Edit/TL;DR : Riot has no idea what subtlety is in regards to balancing champions, items, or the Rift. They go from one extreme to the other and try to dress it up so players FEEL listened to.

Riot just before the preseason - "We hear you don't like how snowbally the game's become recently, so over the preseason we're going to attempt to reduce snowballing by buffing towers early game!"

Only introduces turret plating which means enemies can now get a huge gold lead even if you attempt to play safe!

Turret plating significantly reduces the rate at which a 5 man can just burn the tower down. Yes it's money, but it's money they would have gotten by just taking your tower and leaving you defenseless anyways.

Wait, what? Each outer turret is now worth up to 1100-1250 gold, where as before, a single turret was only worth 300/600 gold. It's not remotely the same.

Except without a tower, in a lot of cases, you were free to farm at your tier 2 tower, where it's much harder to punish you, unless they've opened up the rest of the map. People leave the tower up again Nasus intentionally all the time as it's much harder for him to farm at a tier 1 tower than it is for a tier 2 tower. The same principal works in every situation. Sometimes people like to play safe. They may not be experienced in the matchup or know that the enemy has picked a champion that has huge kill pressure early. Now, even if they decide to not play aggressively they can still leak gold from the sheer amount of free money packed into turret plating.

Is turret plating a bad idea? No, as you said, it stops people from bursting down the tower bot lane and then rotating around the map to take all of the outer towers as early as they do. Is the amount of gold turret plating gives too high? Absolutely.

heres my question why not revert jungle and put a invisible shield so 2v1s cant happen so dang early at top lane. and maybe that will nerf snowballing altogether. also turrets shouldnt lose resists after X period thats stupid artificial shortening games. im pretty sure if i have some crazy hyper armor till X period im NOT gonna shed/break it off i dont care what the rules say. its stupid how it loses its resists after a period.

if you really wanna buff towers make them target champions after they hit it X number of times and have a 2-3 sec memory so 3 or 4v1s dont instantly sack one tower with platings maybe add a hurricane effect in those cases.

Edit: downvoters hate the truth.

Until the tank meta comes around, if the patterns persists.
