What am I supposed to do as ADC?

Until around 25 minutes expect to be less impactful unless you are playing the current bullshit or Draven. The current BS is either Ezreal, Ka'isa, or Lucian. Sivir is a close 4th but needs time. Anyone else is shit in comparison.

This is because damage from items is high but expensive to acquire. But base stats are better on melee champions than ADCs and they have mobility and likely shields/healing. So 9/10 times, you will lost to a fighter/skirmisher like champion in the 1v1 until around 35 minutes. Then it drops to 50/50.

Thats because unlike the other roles, ADC relys on auto attacks more than abilities.

Their burst is often less than a Mid or Top lane champion, but their sustained DPS is higher.

For example, Zed is not going to be taking down a Mundo very easy solo. However a Vayne will shred mundo easily. Tristana, Caitlyn, Lucian, Kalista, Kaisa.... etc.... they can also take out Mundo much easier than Zed.

That is the difference between ADC and mid.

For the difference between ADC and top, it is the sustain. While mid laners build a sustain item as well.... mid lane is only barely less squishy than an ADC. Meanwhile, top laners generally mix tanky sustain and damage. They have less burst, but more sustained damage than a Mid laner.... but less sustained and more burst than an ADC.

To play ADC, you need to realize a few things.

1. You dont burst. You poke and dodge.

2. You dont soak up damage. You do not charge in first, and you have to respect that a fly will come and land on you and you will likely die unless your team shoos it away.

3. It is a total pain to play unless you know the support (for both of you). You two need to work together and play with eachothers strengths. It is painfully obvious when there is two people not working together.
