Nope, Blizzard has seen a huuuuge drop of subcribers from WoW because players were angry with the changes to the game. Blizzard responded by pumping out more expansions. They noticed that when they have expansions the number goes up, yet they only do small things that the player base wanted. Its sad to see but LCS is a bigger pay factor to them then casual players.

The company is free to play and spectators bring in the money. That said they really didn't do too much in the way of forcing plays for the lcs. Other than the lee sin buff. Lets face it an lcs just isn't an lcs without lee. One champ is easy to deal with you just ban them if he actually gets out of hand which I don't actually foresee.

But the meta stagnates and it needs to be refreshed.
