Can Veigar's Stun Be Reworked?

The delay makes it impossible to land, and the insta-stun makes it broken. Please rework it.

I wouldn't say impossible, I think for a stun of its caliber it is fine the way it is. Half the joy is in making the perfect calculation and leading the stun where it needs to go and resulting it in an instanuked carry

It would be a calculation and mindgames if there were no warnings. People can just react to the warnings and not get stunned. Stun can work pretty much only if your team is setting up to make the guy have no other alternative.

Changes were supposed to be a compensation buff for DFG removal. Also OP clearly stated that he wants a discussion on another possibility than either insta-stun or current stun, since he doesn't find both good for the game.

It's not supposed to be a reliable stun on it's own. That's the only way you can justify giving it such a large area with such a long stun duration. You ever wonder why it's a cage? Because it's supposed to trap people and punish them for trying to leave ; summoning the edge of the cage on champions to instantly stun them was clearly never the intended gameplay and I'm amazed it took Riot so long to remedy that issue.

New E isn't satisfying. It's more of a "I really hope you're dumb and walk right into my trap" or "Haha you walked right into my inner range with no cooldowns so now I can cast my E on top of you and my team will do everything".

I like to use veigar's stun to try and stun dashing people so I can laugh at them since I can get them mid air if I predict it right (not like they can stop mid dash, unless they're lee)
