We have a lot of AP tanks Amumu Galio Gragas Zac Malphite Maokai Sejuani Nunu Nautilus TahmKench if you mean tanks that just have AP scalings.

Cho'Gath is more effective as an AP bruiser right now, just like Rumble/Vlad/Morde/Elise/Swain. And Ekko is an assassin.

We need more AP bruisers, though. We are lacking on that area.

Literally just Rumble, Vlad, Swain and Mordekaiser. The latter may not work too well top though after his rework.

Definitely an interesting bunch though, should get some new members to their club.

We are LONG overdue for a top lane fighter. The last top laner fighter we got was freaking Aatrox (no, Gnar is not a fighter).

well first, even if Ekko was a top laner (which he isnt, he is a mid or jungle) he is still an assassin, not a fighter.

well Mid-Lane Utility Mage => Played as Supp => get´s "balanced" => noone wants to play him, so NOPE pls NO ^^ (# Zyra # Velkoz )

When Zyra was released i was really Hyped, i bought her and intended to main her, than the urgently needed Nerf came and everything was fine. After seeing play as support she got nerfed, and nerfed, and nerfed to a point she was no longer able to win a single Mid-Lane - than she was sold in the "Support-Bundle"...

(Right now she´s kinda viable, but she´s nothing special)

Officially, Annie is primarily a mage. She has no secondary role. Blitzcrank is a tank/fighter. Brand is a mage. Galio is a tank/mage. Lee Sin is a fighter/assassin. Lissandra is a mage. Malphite is a tank/fighter. Maokai is a tank/mage. Nautilus is a tank/fighter, Shen is a tank/fighter. Trundle is a fighter/tank. Veigar is a mage. Vel'Koz is a mage. Xerath is a mage/assassin. Ziggs is a mage.

There's a lot of viable supports who aren't labeled as such.

Also, there are a lot of champions labeled as supports who aren't meta supports. Anivia is a mage/support. Ashe is a marksman/support. Fiddlesticks is a mage/support. Heimerdinger is a mage/support. Kayle is a fighter/support. Nunu is a support/fighter. Orianna is a mage/support. Syndra is a mage/support.

Official label means pretty much nothing. If you learn to play instead of just playing things how you're "supposed to," you can make a lot of off-meta supports work. Remember that Ekko was designed as an assassin (the official label is assassin/fighter), but played more often as a tank/fighter. Varus was designed as an ADC, but played more often as a midlaner.

Actually in his champion spotlight, Varus was said to also work Midlane, and there's a few games shown where he goes mid. So I think they hoped that he would be a hybrid lane champ...............still failed mostly, but I don't think he was designed specifically to be an ADC.

An assassin who can build tank and still be effective. I wouldnt catogorize him as an assassin, More a utiily mage, the god amounts of slows stuns and movespeed boosts in his kit on top of having a shield for himself.

He is close to being an "utility assassin" like Nidalee and Kha'Zix. He has CC, shields, and decent teamfighting potential. Those three assassins are the closest thing we have to support assassins. Most other assassins only bring damage, and even when they have something else, it is usually something that they can only use for themselves.

actually Ekko , after his changes is now a tank top/jungle he doesn't have the burst to be an assassin son at most, if you invest on damage, he can end up being a bruiser.

The next champ is called Raa'Tul and is an adc. He's a darkin and his original bow was stolen by varus.

Taken from reddit/4chan but since they were on with azir, ekko, and kalista, why should Raa'Tul be any different?

I'd rather have another burst mage than utility mage, who'll inevitably get stuck bot lane somehow. With a nuke mage, there's a chance that they'll hold their own against other midlaners and will also be good at dpsing during ganks.

That, or a Darkin pls.
