Build Executioner's Calling.

It's 800 gold.

It applies Grievous Wounds for 3 seconds (oh mah lantah) every time you deal PHYSICAL DAMAGE (THAT MEANS ABILITY PHYSICAL DAMAGE AS WELL).

And Mortal Reminder isn't just a core item for ADC's, it also fits way better on ADC's than on us bruisers and tanks, so we can actually pick up another tanky item as opposed to something more suited for squishies, and then we can survive better to peel you better.

Please don't wait until time number 10 of being told and after I've had the item for 6 straight minutes to finally buckle down and pick it up. Thanks.

If im not against soraka, im not gonna rusg it in lane, it puts you behind in damage to the point where you'll just lose fights. I'll buy it when teamfighting starts, or when lane phase is over, but not counter build top lane while im still stuck bot.

Well that depends. Exe and Vamp Scepter is a pretty solid early buy, only 5 less AD than a BF Sword for two effects

Bf swords builds into your first powerspike IE or BT, exe builds into late game counter to armor which no one has early. Wasting 800 gold on an item you wont complete until late game, will only put you 800 gold behind against anyone who isnt vlad/soraka

I think the thing you're forgetting is how cheap LW items are. An LW item is only 2600 gold, and toss on a Bork and suddenly you have about 80%, %go dmg, life steal, armor pen, and heal reduction. But hey You don't have to change your build every game, I'm just crazy for not building the same items every game.

Building lw early is stupid, you cant convince me investing 1300 gold for a stat im not gonna see results in for another 15 minutes is a good idea. LW effects bonus armor, you wont be facing a tank until midgame, even if you are, penetrstion without damage = no damage being penetrated. There is a reason there are item paths, they work, if they didnt people wouldnt use them.

Why should adc care about those guys healing if they can melt their healthbars in 2 seconds with a normal build? I'm not even sure they lose a lot if they take Dominiks over Mortal's Reminder.

Primarily because champs such as Swain are very tanky and usually build an SV with ninja tabi boots on their zhonya. SO they rush in...drop their ult, and watch you melt
