death dance passive should work like a zed ult.

when taking burst damage (more than a certain % of your health bar) from one or more abiltities simulataneously, it should store and pop all that damage at once 2 seconds later.

this would really guarantee, that marksmen will be able to get a couple more auto attacks or best case cram a heal in, but will eventually take the full amount of burst damage that they should have received from the start, instead of drain tanking it off.

also revert item 3026 to what it was and remove the damage reduction from item 3046

i dont understand why marksmen are the only class that is allowed to break their own rules and itemize to negate their only weakness without any tradeoff whatsoever.

otherwise when were already going down this route, i expect a juggernaut item within the next couple of month that gives them ranged instant gapclosers with perfect stat combinations for them aswell. seems only fair.

why should marksmen be allowed to ingore burst, while other classes are shackled to their own counterplay?

100% agree. Riot has been sucking so much ADC dick that they've begun to warp the game. They were basically given all the tools they need to negate their own weakness, while tanks and bruisers were basically told to go fuck themselves. And don't even get me started on mages. item 3102 and item 3001 swap stats but keep their passives? Are you fucking nuts? Give mages a universal item that any of them can and WILL build (because it's free fucking safety, why wouldn't they?) and leave tanks with less power to to deal with burst overall.

Void staff needs to be gutted, and AP needs to be shaved off of several items, and ADCs need to be put in their proper place as a DPS class that dies insanely fast, but kills people insanely fast, not "LOL LOOK, I BUY DEATH'S DANCE AND NOW YOU CAN'T KILL ME BECAUSE I DRAIN TANK EVERYTHING LOLOLOLOLOLOL"

before the buffs no one cared about DD now everyeone is crying about it i really dont understand this philosophy of crying about an item whenever it gets buffs ... if i was going to balance DD make it so it benefits melee champs more than ranged (make the dmg convertion lower for ranged higher for melees and also reduced healing for ranged as well) that way DD wont be just a rush on any champion ...

You are so bad. You think an ADC can literally stand in melee range in Garens spin and 1v1 you. Like I dont know how bad you have to be at Garen to allow that to happen, or youre completely making it up (far more likely)

Deaths Dance. Only popular on 3 maybe 4 marksmen champions. Draven Graves and MissFortune are really the only ones who get it. It is not as common of an item as people make it out to be. Graves is not even a marksmen ADC. He goes in the Jungler role far more often too.

Expect every class has a way to mitigate their weaknesses. Juggernauts have item 3071 item 3742 item 3078 to mitigate their kiting weakness. Mages have item 3157 item 3102 item 3151 item 3027 and a decent amount of other health items to help mitigate their squishiness. Tanks have item 3748 item 3068 item 3025 to help deal with lack of damage in their kits. AD assassins have item 3142 item 3814 item 3139 to help deal with teams. Basically these are only examples of ways items help diminish the weaknesses of their class without major trade offs. Overall, I would also like to add what would the new passive of phantom dancer would be if you removed the damage reduction aspect of it as it would just become trash tier immediately without it.

No, no, and no. None of those items that you described for tanks work in the way you say they are. Iceborne is taken for the CDR, armor, mana, and slow, not the pitiful damage it provides. Sunfire Cape is garbage for damage and is only still taken because there isn't another item to take besides it, and Titanic Hydra is NOT for tanks. It's for juggernauts and bruisers who build two damage items and get tanky

thats only because riot gutted it after the time in season 6 that top was tank ekko/poppy/maokai every game, with you being able to build sunfire iceborn and still out damage most carries, functionally it is supposed to be the damage item for tanks

none of these items mitigate their weakness to kiting. the rage passives help them sticking once theyre already in melee range. and even dead mans plate is susceptible to the same weakness as juggernauts already are. you throw some sort of cc at them, and the movement speed stacks fall off.

dead mans is a roaming tool like item 3117 and to follow up engages of your tank. its not a replacement for hard gap closers.

Mages have item 3157 item 3102 item 3151 item 3027 and a decent amount of other health items to help mitigate their squishiness.

basnhees is just as dumb as ga right now, and i never liked zonyas due to how certain champions use it to negate their own counterplay by comboing it with close range aoe abilities.

Tanks have item 3748 item 3068 item 3025 to help deal with lack of damage in their kits.

sunfire cape is complete garbage as a damage tool. its a waveclear item. and hydra isnt even a tank item, its a juggernaut item that builds on their intended strengths. gauntlet is a cc tool and adds mainly stickyness and peel to their kits.

AD assassins have item 3142 item 3814 item 3139 to help deal with teams.

ghostblade doesnt even remove their weakness. its just a damage item.

mercurial doesnt remove susceptability to burst. edge of the night is available to adc aswell and part of the same problem, but is at least not a passive second life. it requires somewhat planning ahead to use it properly and not waste the shield.

Triforce grants movement speed by itself, deadman's plate grants movement speed for moving even in combat, Blackclever grants movement speed by hitting anything with physical damage. (Lack of stickness is a juggernaut weakness)

Mercurial Scimitar grants Magic resist which lowers damage to burst, and can remove cc. Ghostblade's movement speed helps dodge spells and get to the target they want.

Sunfire, Iceborn gauntlet and Hyrda all give damage period and are useful on tanks.

(slight) movement speed bonuses are no replacement for actual mobility. gap closers blinks, jumps, dashes.

you cant really count triforce and cleaver because all champions scale up in movement speed. adc have item 3086 items that let them move faster. assassins have item 3134 . mages have item 3113 . fighters have item 3044 not to mention rages movement speed bonus only comes to effect when youre already in melee range of the enemy. it doesnt help you close the gap.

these bonuses just offset each other.

like i already explained, item 3742 doesnt remove a juggernauts weakness to kiting. the movement speed buff on the item falls off with slows and other forms of cc. youre just as capable of kiting a juggernaut with dead mans as without it.

you wont outrun him over long distances, but thats got nothing to do with kiting.

i havent seen a single tank who builds item 3748

again, item 3068 is a waveclear tool and does shit for damage. it doesnt help tanks to duel anyone. after mr, the item barely offsets enemy base health regeneration in terms of damage.

item 3025 is the ONLY item on that list that adds a slight bit of damage to tanks. but its main appeal is the armor, health, cdr and slow field for a relatively cheap price.

then again, adc also get a few hp from item 3072 shield.

none of these items just flat out negates these champions weaknesses without any tradeoffs like

item 3026 item 3812 item 3046 do.
