My final DQ post...
...because Riot obviously doesn't listen and it's useless to keep making them. Regardless, I just want to point out one of the many flaws that Riot didn't address in their most recent video.
This is by no means the only one, but it's the most outstanding one to me.
The problem with DQ, that can never be "fixed" simply because of the nature of it, is that it doesn't accurately judge any sort of skill... whether it be "team" skill as was mentioned in the video, or solo. When playing as a premade, it measures your ability to communicate with your premade and carry the game to victory. That's a measure of team play. If this is what Riot wants, just force us to premade as 5 for every game.
When playing as a solo, DQ doesn't measure your team play abilities since you can't communicate as well as any equivalent premade, and you usually rely on the premade on YOUR team to counteract the enemy premade. Solo players are better judged by DQ on how well they GET CARRIED. As long as you can not feed and support your teammates in a way that lets them carry rather than yourself, you've done your job and you'll most likely climb.
The glaring statement that threw me for a loop was when it was mentioned that Riot is hoping to give an MMR advantage to a team with more solos so that everyone has a 50/50 shot to win their games. Sounds great, but they're missing the fact that the difference in premades means the teams are accomplishing completely different things for their rank.
I don't even play the game anymore, but I'm still baffled.
