Jinx has a 51% winrate, 10% playrate. Most champs arent even allowed to dream of this without getting nerfed.
She's getting buffed.
Why is Riot's answer to ADC diversity, especially when her pick rate is already decent, always buffing until a champ is must-pick instead of nerfing the extreme outliers at the top?

Riot clearly favors popularity among some characters over others. Look at my poor boy varus. He gets nerfed anytime he has even a positive WR yet characters like Jinx can sit above 50% forever and get buffs anyways.

Because since the time Morelo left, the balance team decided to turn everything upside down. While he nerfed everything that was even close to powerful, they now decide to buff everything everything that is close to not overpowered
My Personal Answer: So a long long time ago Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck said in an interview that a big design guide for League was to keep changing things - a rotating meta. I am unsure if the design philosophy is the same, but that is usually what I think of when you see "Fair" champions receve buffs to land them in S tier. Now I would prefer if - when this does happen - that champions dont see turbo nerfs to other parts of their kits as a result.
Thats very philosophical though and rides a lot into the mathematics of game theory.
The Correct Answer: Really, Jinx is a solid performer in the current meta, given that they are also changing Crit, there are expecting to see a hit to Jhin and Caitlyn specifically. Giving Jinx a placebo buff on the same patch might keep her competitive viableness, as shes more team fight focused than the other two. This is really similar to the Zyra buffs we have seen over the last few months

That's how I feel about Caitlyn honestly. I've never really mained ADC but I would used to play Cait whenever I got stuck with it and she felt fine to play, not overbearing, but certainly not bad either. Then for some reason they chose to buff her numbers like four patches in a row, oh she needs more base AD, oh she needs more scaling AS, oh her Q needs better scaling, her ult needs 50 more damage...
and now she's just ridiculous. Does rengar levels of damage from a mile away. Her headshot can take any non tank or bruiser to quarter health with just like two items. I don't understand what inspired them to do this, and never fix it.
LET US BE REAL HERE: Riot doesnt give a fuck about "balance" or anything near that term no more i think the game has gotten to the point where they keep over-tuning champs to try and make it so that it will balance the game i mean look at the last 10 patches Illaoi got buff she didnt need garen got changed which were a good idea on paper but in actuality broke him ekko got 4 fucking buffs in a row lee sin an oppressive jungler before buffs got buffed bc "he needed them" (i call bullshit on that one) ashe they broke etc and so on so i think that they are either sitting around a table trying to compromise on how to piss the community off more then they already are or just breaking more and more champs to even out the already staggering amount of overtuned champs to try to prove they are doing something. The point im getting at riot has no freaking clue what they are doing anymore i miss the one dev that actually knew what nerfs were and stopped champs from being over tuned and etc they should re hire him or something bc this game is becoming more and more unbearable to play.......and while we are at it am i the only one who thinks season 10 is a complete fucking disaster or am i just crazy
